Excellent place to stay in. Very friendly and welcoming Owners, staff very accommodating. I love those friendly dogs, the View, the peacefull drive and the atmosphere was good making you feel at peace. Very lovely farm with great food

Our stay at Rouxwil Country House far exceeded our expectations. Anine is a charming hostess and the attention to detail is incredible. Very welcoming place, great hosts and lovely food. We felt like part of the family.The rooms are super clean, spacious and well furnished. We had a bath tub witch was very relaxing.It should be pointed out that the rooms have heating and AC, which is not standard in SA.If you are in the area I would HIGHLY recommand staying here

Anele and Thyse were the most welcoming and incredible hosts we could have ever imagined. I had no expectations for this stay other than that we would be staying at a very beautiful location and boy oh boy our experience was unlike anything we have experienced before. The attention to detail from carefully picked flowers, the food, the food preferences ( as i am a veggie ) the turn downs on the beds in the evening. I really did feel like i was a Queen here.

A realy beautiful place, in the middle of a beautiful landscape. All rooms look over this valley. Evers room is big, the shower and al the things belong to th bath and shower ritual ate there. The welcome is warmful, they make you feel a special guest. The breakfast and dinner are made with love. Verry nice tastings. And Thijs his braai is delicious. If you are there, join there guesthouse.

Rouxwil Country House
An excellent place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet. My husband and I stayed here just after our wedding just to regroup, and had the best time. Oom Thys and Manager Anine were fantastic hosts and saw to it that everything ran perfectly. The food was beautiful and we enjoyed the communal dinner braai with the owner on our last evening there. Comfortable rooms with such thoughtful details, exquisite views and a beautiful, well looked after property.

Highly recommended, for food, facilities and location. I've never stayed anywhere else where the owners make you feel so welcome and part of their family. That includes their doggies too!
