Minty's Fabrics

This 5 stars is solely for the service I received from Khalida. She is a gem to have on your's team. She truly understands customer service but also goes beyond. She recommended me a dressmaker in my tight schedule and went out of her way to help me find the perfect fabric. This is not my first purchase from Minty's. However, on the 12/06/23, I entered the store desperate for service. I walked the entire floor and upstairs, and only 1 consultant[khalida] greeted me and asked if I needed assistance, as i was just about to walk out. Might I add most consultants was not busy...just busy chatting to one another. The ladies on the upper level was worse just give you a stare!

Most favourite place to do material shopping. Friendly owners, friendly and helpful staff, quality stock, beautiful store with beautiful displays ... a win win situation in every way. I love visiting Minty's.

Google says they close at 16h30. Got there at 16h07 and was refused entry. Door master was incredible rude and shut the door on me whilst I was trying to explain that it says they are open. Overall very rude. Not difficult when running a business to update you opening times.

One of the most beautiful fabric stores I've ever seen. Their fabrics are a dream and the next one is even more amazing than the last one, it's literally a fashion enthusiast and designer's paradise.

Iv been to a few other fabric stores, they def hav the widest most eloquent range.Was a full store shopping for matric gowns.Def abit more pricey than other fabric stores , but wit the personalised servce and range, I'd bite that bullet

You will find the most gorgeous pieces of fabric. Goodness I was in complete awe. Parking is quite full however there is parking at the back of the store. I had to ask for assistance and I was pleasantly assisted. Thank you so much Fazila and the tall gentlemen.

Has every fabric you might need for a beautiful gown or special occasion. Staff are friendly. Material prices are a little bit above the prices you would find in durban central by a few Rands or so but the store makes up for it in spaciousness and fabric options. It's best to go in with a good idea of what you will require. Take pictures with or a list from your dressmaker telling you exactly what is required so you don't get overwhelmed by the beautiful selection of materials.
