Cape Union Mart

I was looking to buy few large duffel bags and this was the only place I could find them around Cape Town. I went to couple of other stores as well but this place has the best collection for duffel bags. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave a small discount upon the request as I purchased few bags.

I have to say that Chris is a legend. I was looking for a specific kind of sneaker and my feet are a difficult size. I always struggle to get shoes and he went above and beyond to help. Friendly, competent, knowledgable and helpful. What more can a customer ask for. Thank you big time!

I was really impressed with the service Miriam gave me at this store. I phone to ask about a product that I saw on the website, but it turned out the store didn't actually have stock. Miriam went above and beyond to find the item at another store and when I told her I needed it within two days, she made a plan and the item was in Cape Town (from the Eastern Cape) that same afternoon. Top notch service!

I pleasantly humbled by the staff in this particular store. The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. The second time around it was on a very busy Saturday and my item took long before I could get sorted but the gentleman that helped me didn’t make me feel like I was troublesome and because I was in uniform maybe he thought I was going back to work and kept apologising for having to make me wait, which I thought was very thoughtful. I didn’t get his name but he was trainee and worked the Saturday of the 10Dec. Went to collect my Stanley flask that went for repairs. Appreciated the service

Went by to look for a jacket this eve- had the most friendly and impressive service! Simone helped me and she is fantastic! Everyone in the store is extremely helpful, passionate and friendly. They didn’t end up having my size so she ordered me one from another mall for delivery to my house! Would give more than five stars if I could. Great team and management!

If I could put a -1 for this review, I would. I bought a Thule bag online. A different one came. We tried to speak to someone online to sort it out. I kept getting emails about how I’m enjoying my bag but wasn’t the right one. It’s taken over a month for them to collect the bag from me and then instead of giving me the correct bag that I ordered they just refunded me the money without saying anything. If the product is sold out or out of stock then put something online so we can’t buy it. The online customer service is absolutely terrible, these people say they value their customers which is false. If they really did they would’ve been on the ball asking how they could fix it and all of that BUT NO. I got nothing like that, I just got sent from one person to next to be their problem. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Great selection of very reasonably priced men’s and women’s outdoor sporting clothing. My belt broke the first day I was in Cape Town and I needed a new one. I wandered into this store knowing nothing about it and asked if they sold belts. I bought a very attractive and well made leather belt here for 199 Rand! Such a deal! I’m wearing it everyday now!
