the one bouncer was very inappropriate and would not let my female friend leave. he held her wrist tightly and would not let go. at least people were around to help my friend. bouncers should make patrons feel safe but instead the bouncer harassed and made people feel extremely uncomfortable. we will not be going to de lapa ever again.

Very good drink specials and friendly staff but the hygiene is a bit off-putting. The plastic cups they give out with drinks are reused and it’s a bit of a let down when you look down at your dop and see bite marks on the top plastic rim from previous use. The downstairs toilets also need to be vamped up, especially the men’s.

I wish I had a picture of the manager, she’s light skinned and short haired, she said she’d call bouncers to escort me to leave because the bouncer didn’t like me. They ultimately left me alone cause I refused but I won’t let them forget the service I received. Im sorry for the bad pictures.But do not come to this place .

Get there early, line usually long. Favorite club in stellenbosch when DJ hired. Great value for money regarding drinks. Great specials.

Dangerously cheap drinks. Would recommend grabbing a robot to kick start the evening at this well knows Stellies establishment. Staff are able to pour drinks at a fairly rapid pace and unless it’s a Wednesday you should be able to get in without too much of a wait! Don’t mess with the bouncers or you may find yourself face first on the tar but for the average student definitely worth a visit.

Very much student territory, but has good drink specials, upstairs has vibey electronic music and downstairs has good singalongs. Generally quite a que to get in upstairs and into actual De Lapa

These bouncers don’t care if you’re friend is throwing up. They’ll make the most effort to humiliate you in an attempt to make sure your friend is conscious. Ridiculous tbh
