Winelands Paragliding

What an amazing experience. The crew are fantastic. Eventhough I was really scared before we started they made me feel safe. I had a wonderfull time. This must be on your list of things to do when you visit Paarl or Franschhoek.

Such a great experience! The team are incredibly friendly and professional. The views and flight are amazing and it’s definitely worth getting the media package as the memories and photos are awesome!

Mias is the best instructor I have ever met !You need him if you want to do this sport!He is soooo good !!

Today I had an awesome day today doing Tandem Paragliding from Paarl Rock. Tandem Paragliding pilot I flew deserves ten out of ten guiding me through the technics of flying in the air allowing to take awesome photos of the Paarl Scenery from the air.

Mias was great, very professional and cheerful. He made sure to contact me in the days preceding the paragliding session to update me on the weather conditions and was very helpful with a variety of queries that I had. Would definitely go do it again!

Mias is the adventure! The whole experience is much more than being up in the air with this very friendly and positive guy: the way Mias takes you with you not only physically but also mentally makes the difference. Being welcomed with the biggest smile on their faces Andre and Mias met us at a café so we could enjoy the ride to the launch (Franschoek) on the back of his pickup truck. On the way up he explained us the vegetation around and how you can read the wind out of the nature surrounding you. For people like me who are affright of heights these informations give you a feeling of control and the anticipation of Mias is catching. We were lucky because we could do a top-landing that day, which means you don‘t fly down the mountain, but you fly up and land where you launched. We had to wait a short while formother nature to be ready for us and Mias used that time to explain us parts of the city we were above and gave us an explanation what we would have to do for the launch. The flight itself (around 15 to 20 minutes!) was as exciting as it was relaxing at the same time, very smooth and actually very comfortable! They had a selfie stick with a GoPro which you hold in your hands and you get all the photos and videos just after your flight transferred to your phone without any extra fee. The price is more than fair and with Mias and his happy team you feel not only 100% save, but also high even after landing ;)

My family and I had an amazing time and experience with Mias and the crew! They are very professional and making sure everything is done well and safe. A once in a lifetime experience for sure. A recommendation for those who want to experience the Winelands in a special and memorable way. We all loved it!
