Mbazo Safari Lodge

Visited in mid may 2022. Had the most amazing 3 days in Safari we could imagine. The place is fully new and newly decorated with some astonishing design ideas. The staff - require separate praise - each of them are very welcoming and easily chit chat with you, help with any trouble you might have here.The food (of course praise for the chef) were each time a new taste experience and with 2 choices thus everyone could get something they like. Furthermore , chef never said no for making something simple for small child - nice touch.The Safari itself and the ranger - we took 4 out of 5 big fives in one day - amazing experience for the first time. The ranger was helpful in explaining each of our questions and getting around the Black Rhino reserve. Praise for him as well when we took extra hour in total to try to get that Puma - well , next time, but either way was nice ride around the bigger reserve . Could forget the snacks during the safari - all of them were tasty and we ate them pleasantly each time with some Amarullo coffee or some champagne.The lodges - exclusive , I cannot imagine a better stay in Safari with some amazing baths with views.While chilling at the main venue you can have a bath in the pool while waiting for some animals to come - we got zebras and two elephants .Thank you for the experience.P.s. the brai on the last night - delightful!

An oasis of luxury in the middle of nowhereTo have had the opportunity to travel to Mbazo was a life-changing experience. The food was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was a pleasant one. On our journey, this was the most memorable experience, and we would highly suggest Mbazo Lodge to anyone looking for luxury and tranquility on their next vacation to South Africa.

We stayed 3 nights at Mbazo Safari Game Lodge and enjoyed every hour. The staff was super friendly, included meals were delicious and the suites were spacious and we loved the design. On top of it we were lucky to see the Big5. What an amazing experience!!!

SuperbMbazo Safari Lodge is out of this world.When you arrive to Mbazo, you are greeted cordially by the cheerful Mbazo Team.The lodge is genuinely one-of-a-kind and exclusive, with lovely design throughout.The rooms are large, opulent, and beautifully designed. There is an outdoor and indoor shower, as well as a wonderful relaxing outside deck area where you can unwind and rest in a tranquil setting.There is a great lounge | outdoor & indoor eating space placed in a beautiful, tranquil setting with stunning views.A fantastic Boma place with a tiny pool overlooking the water hole.The food was delicious, and the entire Mbazo Team offered excellent service.The afternoon game drive was a lot of fun and a fantastic experience.A special thank you to Tania for her exceptional service and for providing a fantastic and memorable event that I will never forget.I definitely suggest a visit to Mbazo Safari Lodge and eagerly await my return visit.

Mbazo is an amazing lodge! We were super impressed with our stay.The staff is so friendly and warm, and everyone makes you feel so at home.The lodge is modern and pristine. The rooms are stylish and comfy. Our only complaint was that we could hear a bit of noise coming from the kitchen area from our room (we were in the ant lion suite).The food was amazing! Every meal was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in were the fish dishes (my Seabass had an odd flavour and the tuna I had was a bit bland). Other than that though, every dish was superb. And they feed you a lot, so make sure you’re hungry!The game drives were lots of fun, and our ranger Ruan was knowledgeable and made the experience memorable.I would highly recommend this lodge if you’re looking for a great stay in the Pilanesburg area.

We recently stayed at Mbazo and can confidently say that our stay was nothing short of excellent. The friendly staff was exceptionally hands on and the game drives were informative. Mbazo is child friendly and keeps the children entertained for hours with their kids club. The rooms were clean and the mouth watering food was divine. We strongly recommend a stay at Mbazo Safari Lodge.

We really liked our stay at the Mzabo Lodge. There are 2 game drives included in the price (one in the morning and one in the afternoon), which were just amazing. The food is excellent and the people are super friendly. Special shout-out to Sandile, Kabelo and Ruan for making our stay exceptional!
