Fantastic day with Graeme. Cannot recommend it enough. We did a custom sea safari and had an awesome time seeing everything the coast has to offer, from pods of dolphins to snorkeling with seals to exploring marine caves. Plus, it was nice to have a smaller boat with just my wife and I. We got to do things on our own schedule and never felt rushed. Graeme is a great captain and guide. Highly recommended.

Our family boat trip with Oceans Africa was such an amazing experience. We enjoyed a three hour boat cruise from Simon’s Town,past Kalk Bay and the world famous Muizenberg surfing beach sitting at the back line watching the surfers and swell coming through which was so amazing to watch. We then took a trip out to Seal Island which is interesting to see. Seal Island is a famous spot for photographers and videographers to film sharks breaching. Graeme told us so many interesting facts about the seals and sharks. After Seal Island we cruised back and enjoyed a sunset drink in a gorgeous warm spot and enjoyed the amazing beauty and scenery around use. We cruised to the famous spot where the Oscar winning moving was filmed “My Octopus Teacher” Graeme told us interesting facts about this spot. my kids enjoyed seeing where this movie was filmed. We then cruised back enjoyed seeing penguins and sea life all the way home. This is a trip we need to do again so we can hopefully spot more whales and dolphins. My kids got to experience driving the boat and they loved it.Such a gorgeous boat trip. Special memories made.Highly recommended.

Graeme from Oceans Africa makes every trip a special one. He focuses on the real experiences on and in the ocean as it happens. We can't choose when nature presents itself, but we can choose how we respond when it does. Graeme is not a go-hurry-and-dive operator. He is always willing to quickly explore a group of penguins, seals, anchovies, yellowtail..whatever presents itself. He operates calmly and professionally as expected on a dive boat. He listens to his clients needs and tries his best to deliver accordingly. I personally enjoy his butcat boat with easy access via a platform at the back. The service is personal. Graeme would not hesitate to carry and organize your equipment right to your vehicle. His access plan to get geared up and on the boat is the easiest and smoothest ever!

Had an amazing freediving experience with Graeme on the Sea Otter. Planned a freediving safari on the atlantic side. Looked for whales and sunfish. Explored the rocky coastline and visited the wonderful BOS400. Stopped at the seals on the way back. A very pleasant experience with Graeme who was very accomodating and open to looking for the best conditions and expereinces possible. Would highly recommend.

Our day on the sea with Graeme was incredible! I can’t recommend it enough. It was 100% one of the best days of my life.After having seen a wildlife documentary on the dolphin super pods in False Bay my dream was to one day see them with my own eyes.. when we finally had the opportunity to go to SA I found Graeme online and booked a private excursion with him.Full of hope but no expectations we went out on his boat for the afternoon and Graeme did go out of his way to find wildlife with us. We saw the elusive sunfish, went to seal island, saw penguins and my dream of seeing a super pod of Dolphins came true. It was better than I could’ve hoped and I will be forever grateful for the experience. It was UNBELIEVABLE. If you’re planning anything at sea in or around Simon’s Town I’m pretty sure you can’t get anyone better than Graeme to take you out.

After having changed our plans over and over again with the guessing game that is water conditions, we finally confirmed and had a fantastic day out! Professional and prompt service, a delightfully arranged trip and a boat that was the perfect size for a small group, we all thoroughly enjoyed it! I would highly recommend launching with Oceans Africa for any diving or other ocean activities that you might have planned!

Great evening out with Graham. Magnificent sunset, nice freedive, great full moon rising. Bonus was the flysurfing, trying to find hunting squid and the bioluminescent algae! Recommended this to friends to try out and will certainly be going out with Graham again in future. Such a chilled experience!

We had a fantastic experience last week! Graeme is a great guide who explained us a lot about false bay and the sea life there. Snorkeling and interacting with seals was a magical experience which we will never forget. Highly recommended!

Amazing boat trip to seal island where we spotted over 6000 seals. On the way to seal island we came across ~400 dolphins, swimming along with the boat. Graeme, the skipper, was so friendly and knowledgable! I would definitely do this trip again and would recommend it to everyone. It's a cozy and personal fishing-boat, perfect for a small group of friends.

An AMAZING experience with Graeme our captain and Alex our guide. We booked a last minute trip snorkelling with seals, off Simons Town, we didn’t expect to have a private boat to ourselves - they offered such a lovely personal experience at an unexpectedly reasonable cost.Unfortunately one of our party was terribly sea sick, Graeme tailored our experience to make it most enjoyable for her. A very caring, professional individual who has vast knowledge of the sea, animals and region.Can not recommend Oceans Africa enough, if I ever have the pleasure of visiting Capetown again I will be booking another trip out with Graeme!
