Westbrook Bakery & Take-Away
Westbrook Bakery and Takeaway is a good place to get bunny chows on the North Coast. You can buy your food then head to Westbrook beach to chow down. I did find the lamb bunny chow quite oily though, however the meat was good quality and while the curry was quite overpoweringly spicy, it had a good flavour. I must commend the takeaway on their packaging though, which is neat and tidy and makes it easy for you to unwrap and eat your bunny. The baked goods are also delicious and most definitely worth a try.

Absolutely delicious meals!! We had the mutton bunny as well as the prawn. Both were absolutely devine, full of flavor. Bunny was loaded with filling (prawn and mutton). The owner and staff are super friendly. Place is neat.

I would travel the distance to this restaurant without complaining..the bunny besides being very oil was delicious...meat was soft .. potatoes melting in your mouth..the actual bunny was nice and big.. restaurant was neat and clean ..

Delicious prawn bunny. Divine samoosas and vedda. Highlight is the owner Sham, such a delight. Personal touch and so welcoming. Awesome. Definitely recommend.

First time trying this Prawn Bunny, all I can say is Wow! Absolutely delicious, not too spicy, just perfect. A gracious amount of prawns of good size as well, right to the bottom of the bunny. A unique dish and great flavour.

I love a Durban curry and this is as good as they get. We got chicken, mutton and a prawn curry. Share them in a feast.The guy in the queue in front of me asked for mild, they said they don't do mild!. We ordered hot and loved it.PS. The bottled pickled lime and mixed veggies are tops.

Had to try out the famous prawn bunny, and boy was it worth the hype. Plump, beautifully cooked prawns (and plenty of them!) in a delicious chutney that melted into the freshest loaf. It’s a substantial meal, so go hungry. The eat in space is clean (we preferred the balcony), and there is a sink to wash up, so don’t be afraid to get in there with your fingers and enjoy!The owner was super friendly and you can see the pride he has in his business.
