Would not recommend for a function! I booked the outside tent for a babyshower 2 months ago. The babyshower was booked for a Saturday morning for about 50 guests so I needed a big space. I was told that everything would be provided (tables, cutlery, etc.) and we only need to bring in our own décor. I asked the manager if we can set up the Friday night as there will not be enough time the morning of the event. When we got to the venue on Friday night, it was like nothing was done. It was very dirty and not at all suitable for a function. When I informed the manager that we are not happy with the state of the tent, she told me that I should have know what we were getting into as they do not charge venue hire. One would think that a clean space is a given, not something that you need to ask for (especially for a babyshower!). The staff were also rude and unaccommodating when we were trying to find a solution. Only a ideal place to drink, nothing more.

This really is a wonderful restaurant. Food is absolutely amazing and drinks are cheap. Our favorite is the Bloemhof craft beer. We are slowly working our way through the menu. We always share a meal, as they are massive. The best part for us though is the friendly staff, they know our names and even when they are crazy busy they smile and take great care of us. It was so nice, we went twice in one day! We went for a light lunch and then went back for dinner! The portions are so much larger than expected and everything is well priced. Everything we had was very delicious, with the highlights being the pumpkin tart you get as part of your veg portion, the sirlion steak and THE CHIPS!!!! We will be back soon, with the extended family.

We went for a family dinner one year and have been going back regularly since. The food is superb and the portions are so huge they make first time diners giggle. It is a very home away from home place with a strong base of regulars. Try them you won't be disappointed.

We took my mom to Bloemhof Restaurant for her birthday. We had massive portions served to us at a very reasonable price and the food and drinks were so good!Our waitress, Lina Shaw was so sweet and she honestly made our first time dining here so enjoyable! She even sang happy Birthday to my mom and brought her dessert with a candle sparkler.Thank you for a wonderful evening!

One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.This place is a true hidden gem. Just love the vibe of the place. There is seating inside for a real farm house feel and lots of seating outside with a large bar.The food is delicious and the portions are very big.And the cherry on top is the very friendly staff.This place is a must try!

Been going here for many years. I'd say the eisbein, chicken strips and chips and ribs are their best dishes. Love the owners, really dedicated and wonderful people who go out of their way to make the experience pleasant.
