We had a function on a Saturday that we asked them to cater for.x3 Platters - x2 savoury (large and medium size) and x1 sweet.When we collected, we could not find parking - so I asked my daughter to jump out quick, pay and pick up.They were kind and helped her put the platters in the car - but something seemed off, it was hot and and I was in the middle of the road with my hazards on - I thought I was just being irratated.When we got home I took a moment to check the platters - it was short of the large savoury, we then called to asked where it was and the manager/owner said that the ladies at the back did not make it, and it was too late to do anything now. - That's it. No apology, no suggestion on how to fix it, nothing.We had to think quick and make another plan.The function was success and we had a good story to tell.We did everything that was asked of us - we ordered well in advance (more than a week), we confirmed a couple days before... So not sure what happened.Food Platters we had was amazing!Not so much the customer service.

I was there on Thursday 14 of 4/2021at 11am I went to home made delights in fordsburg there was full.flies in the savouries for Ramadaan and savouries were looking stale .the old man and his son touching with there Bare hands no gloves and putting in the box .consulted the owner the oldman hes so abrupt. He actually swore in vulgar.language Pls be careful terrible service and overpriced.last time all the rose milk. Cans was 1 year expired pls be careful guys

Exquisite platters, probably the best in JHB. We always pre-order and pickup. Great value and taste.

Amazing goodies! You just want to try everything! Biscuits were delicious! Really good! Only problem is the parking or should I say lack of. Neighboring shop owners don't take kindly to double parking, even for a few minutes. They can be quite insulting!

Goods look decent but they use imitation cream. Also , you have to go to the staff and ask to be helped. They don't even greet knowing full well that you are a customer.

Lots of lovely delicious delights at this fabulous establishment. Friendly service too

Yummy mini frozen pies, samoosas, calzones, stuffed naans etc. As if it was made at home. Also lots of decadent biscuit trays and cakes. One can also order platters for functions. A little costly but worth the money and no effort on your side :)
