If had only listened to Barry's review ....It was a hunting trip for my dad's 60 birthday... and this was a utter disaster. There were NOTHING that we could hunt , the busses was so dence . It was about 1 buck per 50hectarThe hospitality was the only part that was just outstanding!, they went the extra mile for us.We will not be visiting sokeng ever again.And the irony is ... the owner does not refund ... at all.

Such a nice venue and friendly people! And oh my word the food was devine! Would recommend Sokeng to any bride wanting a bushveld wedding.

Terrible! We booked accommodation for a wedding that was held at Sokeng. The wedding was fine but we got a dirty messy room to stay in so we ended up booking at another place nearby. Owners refuse to give us a refund.Terribly disgusted with how our complaint was handled and the fact the we were expected to stay in a room with a leaky roof, out windows,no toiltet, rumors about cold shower and DIRTY, DUSTY room

Hospitality was good. However, if you booked the lodge for a hunting weekend, you will be disappointed. (cancel now) There are little to no bucks to hunt, within an affordable price range. The vehicle used to transport hunters is unsafe and was not fitted with the necessary gear.
