I loved the place. It is very beautiful. The only thing I would not recommend is the Long Tom Toboggan ride (yellow train ride) because it was very fast, unstable and scary. Some of the trains had faulty brakes, which resulted in some of them crashing into others when they reached the end of the ride. This ride is not suitable for children younger than 10 years old. The staff should also not allow any rides when it is raining.

We loved this place. The rooms are neat and clean with everything you could possibly need. The views are spectacular. The hiking route was a bit challenging at times with the rain. The food was prepared fresh and delicious.

Misty Mountain is the place to be when you need a cosy winter getaway with beautiful views! It was an absolutely magical stay with friendly staff and great food. They also helped me courier my shoes back to me that I left in the room. Definitely coming back !

When I traveled to this residence, the weather was completely cloudy and the fog covered all the places and created an eerie scene in one's imagination. The peace of Hamra with the sound of birds and the movement of clouds along with the colorful nature cannot be described. I recommend that you definitely travel to this part of South Africa

Overall a good stay. Good location, amazing chalets. Great on site activities, quad biking and scoot tours. but they could do better in terms of food and wifi coverage. Would also be nice to have stove and sufficient kitchen utensils as it's a self catering accommodation.

A beautiful location, facilities are top notch, my only concern was how thin the chalet walls are, we were able to hear absolutely everything going on next door which really put a dampener on the trip, other than that it was a good stay.

I was hoping for better treatment from this place but I was disappointed. The front desk guy was shouting at us during check out when we were clearly stating the invoice had meals we didn’t have. He told us it’s not his business. I don’t even want to get into the rest of the other things. Personally, I wouldn’t come back here.
