Call for stock confirmation then when you get there they don't have stock on an item you confirmed they had that SAME morning. They guy got rude at the end too, like it was my fault THEY didn't have stock...

Always nice to go and visit Rendo and get friendly and expert service from them. This Hi Fi shop rivals many big guns from Gauteng and Cape town. Worth a visit if you are in the market for a good sound system big or small!

While my initial experience with this store was very good, I am appalled at the lack of respect and after sales service I have received from Ray and Rendo. After receiving a damaged item I asked to exchange it for a more expensive set of speakers which I needed for music production. They did not have stock of what I wanted, therefore, I asked for my money back. Not only are they refusing to give me my money back for the damaged item, but they are trying to sell me a pair of speakers I don't want at a much higher price than offered elsewhere. I have had to lay a complaint against Ray and the store with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman to resolve the matter.Rendo called me after the complaint was lodged and instead of offering me the refund I'm entitled to, he boasted about his annual million rand sales and then insulted my financial position by stating that I do not have the money to pay for the speaker which is why I want a refund. How disgraceful! He refuses to acknowledge that I returned the item because it was damaged, despite photographic evidence. At the time of writing this they have my money and the damaged speaker I returned.I am a professional musician (concert pianist, music producer and DJ) and I cannot believe how I have been treated by this store. If I could give them zero stars I would. It is clear that they are more concerned about their commission than having satisfied, long-term customers.UPDATE: I would like to make it clear that not once did I have any issues with the products at Rendo's Audio. I in fact highly praised pretty much everything I listened to in the store. I did not ask Rendo to allow me to take the demo unit home for the weekend, that was offered to me which I graciously accepted. As I stated above, my initial experience with the store was very good.My buyers remorse" needs to be put into context as I was saying that I bought a bluetooth speaker before studio monitors which I needed more urgently. It had nothing to do with the dissatisfaction of the initial item. Despite this though

My family has always received great service and prices from Rendo's. Certainly the first stop if we need an item they can provide, and to date also the last stop.

Excellent Shop, excellent service, good pricing. Bought my first High Quality speakers here in 2015, and support them regularly. Their pricing is good and they stock quite a few different brands. Always a pleasure dealing with them.This past week though, I Have noticed that my emails are not being replied to, after enquiring, and following up to trade some equipment in on a sound bar currently on special.Other than that still an excellent shop, with excellent sales service.

The guys at Rendos treat their customers with humour and respect. They sell audio equipment that looks intimidating. Their attitude is anything but. Their advice is honest and comprehensive. They were not condescending to me as a woman who never chooses to appear in Sunday go to meeting clothes. That speaks volumes.

Great service from them and always willing to give some discount.
