Amber Moon

Paid quite a lot of money for the few things i actually did buy. Felt the lady's attitude changed fairly quickly when i asked nicely for money back (bought a gorgeous bracelet but was the size of a necklace on me) and after coming home to one of my 'citrine' crystals it has now completely smashed into 2 pieces and the more I inspect under good light it just looks like coloured glass to me?? (Also baring in mind these were not cheap to me) fair to say the shop is beautiful inside and out however, I am not very impressed by the quality in crystals.

I would recommend all customers to rather take their business to Calypso in Somerset West. This shop is not what it was. I am so disappointed. Ambermoon used to be my little piece of heaven filled ONLY with TRANQUILITY. Well that was my experience with the previous ownership. There was always a lovely older woman working there. So kind and helpful. She had real knowledge on her stock and the store. I don't know what happened with this new ownership but all I can say is no. There is a young pregnant lady working there. I tried to approach her, since I had questions about the gemstones I wanted to buy. But she was too busy. On her phone. Fighting. Fighting with her boyfriend or something. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. I still tried to be nice. But she was just cold, rude, and irritated. She made it very clear that I was bothering her and wasting her time. I feel like I was chased out of the store. My heart is broken. I feel absolutely horrible after that experience. I wish the old ownership could just come back. But at the very least this girl needs to get dealt with and the new ownership needs to pull their socks up. But for the time being, customers shouldn't bother wasting their time their.

I couldn't get what I wanted, but the owner was very helpful and friendly.

Rather dissapointed in what this shop has become. Seeking for the usual Amber Moon experience, I was forced to have to listen to the personal telephone conversation/argument of the lady working there. When I gestured for assistance, she rudly turned away as to avoid any contact with me. I felt a large part of my dignity dissapear at that moment just as I will forever dissapear as a loyal customer.

Lovely energy and and peaceful vibe as soon as you enter the shop, lovely staff as well as beautiful products being sold and amazing services offered as I have done multiple reikis and spiritual healing by this place and it's really changed me as a person I cant stress this enough that amber moon is definitely the place to come to.So many people have left the shop with smiles just a pity that they dont share their experiences as there is so much hate going around these days some positivity in the air will really do some good.Much love for this place keep it up guys.

I bought a beautiful gemstone necklace and rose quart. First day I wore the necklace, it just broke and the stone suspiciously broke way too easily. As for my rose quarts I inspected it and it's definitely colored glass. Quality of products have become very bad. It seems like these gemstones could be cheap man-made fakes. I can't clear my chakras with fake stones.

Not the same shop as it used to be. It has really gone downhill since new ownership. It used to be so friendly. I'm really not digging the awkward unfriendly vibe. It kind of ruins the experience of the crystals.

This store is just awful. Horrible customer service. Rude young pregnant lady working there. So apparently her phone is more important than me, a paying customer. She created an even more horrible atmosphere with her loudness and public personal fights. I don't need to know that you fight with your boyfriend, hun.

Wow, the atmosphere in the shop is just amazing. Michele the owner is extremely well educated on all aspects of Reiki and a myriad of esoteric subjects. Her knowledge of crystals and their mystical uses is phenomenal.She is an excellent meditation guide. Having been in the shop and experiencing the beautiful, positive and peaceful energy one cannot walk out there and not desire to come back. The energy is extremely healing for mind, body and spirit.The owner's daughter Michaela is an absolute asset with her friendly nature and her welcoming attitude to everybody that walks in there.I will highly recommend the shop to anybody searching for esoteric products and spiritual guidance. I rate the store and meditation center an absolute unequated 10 stars.
