MAC Mall of Africa is my fave - the assistants are cheerful and helpful.

The blonde lady at mac today (had literally nothing to do as the store was empty), and was so shocked when I asked to try on a product (like it was the strangest thing ever asked). Super unfriendly. Never going to mac again as for some reason the make up artists there think they are the worlds best thing.

Went in again in a bind at 9h15 on a verrry quiet Friday. Even worse experience than previously. They love to sell but not to work unless they feel like it. Every excuse. Seriously wonder what MAC's training entails. Where is the manager?? First review: Worst MAC experience I have ever had. Went in on a weekday afternoon. Two customers in the store, 1 having her face done and a white schoolboy buying make up ( ♡ ). Five employees (1 doing the make up and 1 helping the boy). I wait in front of the counter, idle staff in sight. Finally the only male of the present staff asks if I need help. I ask of there is a slot available to have my done. He looks at the idle girl and she says nege. He then says please wait. Goes to the staff member still busy helping the schoolboy, she agrees. He then says it may take a while because I did not make an appointment (granted, but not like they're having to fend off hectic trade). I agree to return in 15 mins; I do. Now only 1 customer in the store. My make up is finally done haphazardly and with frequent breaks to talk to any customer coming in even though there are other idle staff members. Left with the mandatory R1k in product but with zero customer care. Bizarre. This store needs a present, competent manager stat.

These 5 stars are specifically for a lady called Paseka (MAC in Edgars - Mall of Africa). After going to the stand-alone MAC store were I was turned away for the 6 empty bottles for a free MAC lipstick initiative that they have, I went all the way to the other side of the mall where Paseka not only helped me straight away with her warm and friendly nature, but she also called up the other MAC and told them they were incorrect to turn me away unless the business tells them otherwise! Thanks Paseka

I was not impressed with the sales consultant at Edgars mac mall of africa. She had no testers and opened the product she ought to sell and tested it out on her skin. Very unhygienic!Also, she had no stock of what i wanted and did not know the number if the stand alone mac store in the centre. Unhelpful!

They products are very good
