My boyfriend's favourite shop. He goes in for something quick and 2hrs later I have to go drag him by the ear. His fish did start dying like flies right after introducing guppies he bought there but everything else he seems to find there just fine. Well stocked shop with friendly staff.

Almost all the fish tanks were empty.-the shelves half empty. Not at all what I expected. The photo`s on the internet looks great. So I went but did not find what I was looking for-a Angelfish, plant substrate,HEALTHY aquarium plants and a aquarium light not a light bulb.

They have some rare stock here which is why I visited them and 2 guys who know what they're talking about. But I was actually not all impressed. For a place that sells aquaurium stock only, their aquariums are quite a mess. I noticed a few dead or dying fish that hadn't been placed in quarantine, and the water was poorly filtered and murky. also light over the tanks was dull. Plant stock was under lit and scarce. The room was fairly dirty. At least there were plenty of tanks and they are a decent size. Now all that said I did by most of my fish here and most of them are healthy. Only lost one guppy out of the fish I bought. The red torpedo barbs were in a bad state, frayed fins and no color, thankfully just 2 days in my tank and they've started to gain color and health.Please fix up the issues and give the unique stock unique treatment..

Nice shop, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice selection and healthy fish.But the shop looks a bit messy, wrong stuff in a wrong place. I saw the kitchen stuff (Kettle, Microwave, dirty dishes and coffee) next to the selling goods. The owner should look at it and fix it.It's really a nice shop

Great outlay of products, great customer service and a good selection of livestock, especially the freshwater section. I have personally never had a bad experience upon entering this store, the staff are very knowledgeable regarding the fishkeeping hobby and there is safe, ample parking space outside of the store. Would recommend this place to any fish hobbyist, from beginner to the most experienced - there is something for everyone here.

Awesome staff that know a lot and are super helpful, great service. Very good quality fish and plants!! The advice they gave me all worked really well and the prices are a lot better than any other place in Cape Town. Very nice atmosphere! Will be back!!

The staff are friendly and knowledgable. The fish are in good health. The fish room does look a little messy sometimes with the floor being dirty, but i guess it cant be helped working with water and ppl going in and out all the time. It would be nice If they had more stock of different kinds of fish as everytime I go there they are out of stock. Its the only fish pet store we go to. I would def recommend them over a normal pet store that sells fish.

Sad state of affairs.... Empty tanks, empty shelves, no guppies or sword tails, very few fish and I bought the last few aquarium plants. I'm rating the business 3 stars because of friendly customer service and good advice. Nice guys. Scale down your premises lads!
