Etafileni - Self Catering Apartment

Loved staying here. Very convenient location; short drive to the cable car (table mountain), for the city centre, for camps bay and many other tourist locations. Hosts were very nice always happy to be of assistance. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Very safe and secure. Would stay again.

What a gem! Helen and Richard have made this little nook nestled in the shadow of Table Mountain a haven of tranquillity and a home away from home. Well kitted-out with all the necessities and mod-cons to make one's stay comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable.Loved the eclectic variety of DVD's, which had us snuggling up in bed most evenings, when the winter weather outside was cold, watching a great movie.Thanks for making our stay so comfy and memorable. Will most certainly be back in the near future.

We booked this place for a week, not really knowing what to expect. What greeted us on arrival was a very well appointed flat, full of everything we could possibly need for our stay. Well, more than that - so much to read and so may movies to see. Helen (the host) was very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us excellent tips on what to do, and more importantly when to do it. We had a great time in Cape Town, and staying here definitely contributed significantly to that. Thanks Helen!

Home from Home..Great location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Apartment well appointed with every thing we needed. We enjoyed opening the fold away doors because it extended the living area onto the patio. Safe parking for the car and good security. Access to public transport. We would most certainly stay there again.

Absolutely great place to stay! The place is lovely and Helen went out of her way to make our stay an amazing one, even as she was out of town and on holiday herself. Location was perfect. It was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but within a 5 minutes drive of all the excitement of Cape Town. The place is small, but they are able to do amazing things with the space. Highly recommend it to anybody going on holiday or business in Cape Town!

It is quiet and peaceful, located at the foot of Table mountain.There are some nice restaurants and shops within walking distance from the guesthouse.The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. The guesthouse comes with books and movies which we found was great for when we spend the night in. It is also very safe with a modern alarm system, tailored for individual needs. What we liked about staying there is that they catered for the little things as well.It has everything you need for a holiday in Cape Town!!

I stayed at Etafileni for 2 months and it was my home away from home. Helen and Richard made me feel welcome and were super nice and helpful, caring hosts. The flat has all luxuries and amenities you can wish for, lots of books, DVDs, Netflix and very good internet connection. It has a fully equipped kitchen, is beautifully furnished and very tastefully decorated. Also the sitting area outside with trees and flowers -just perfect. The location, Vredehoek, is a safe and sound residential area directly under Table Mountain with Deer Park right in front of your doorstep for hikes and beautiful views over the city and of Lions Head. Would definitely recommend Etafileni and give it 5*

I had a whistle stop trip to Cape Town, at last minute, and Richard and Helen of eTafileni made my stay a pleasure!The flatlet is clean and precise and absolutely perfect, with all the amenities and luxuries - and even a small library of DVDs and books. We would highly recommend Etafileni as a place to stay as it is set in a beautiful location, the hosts are extremely helpful and friendly and there are lots of amenities not far away. The accommodation is very comfortable and peaceful with lots of little extras supplied like milk in the fridge, DVD's to watch and lots of leaflets of Cape Town tourist attractions.
