website is misleading.one room is nice.rest is really bad. dark old fashioned small and badly decorated. the pool is no pool. but a large bucket of cold water without stairs to get in or out. breakfast is the absolute minimum of what you can call breakfast. no nice place outside to sit with a little privacy. view is spectacular. dont go there the rest is a big disappointment

We absolutely loved staying here! Host is very pleasant, gave us lots of traveling tips and help, always available. The views are amazing.

It felt like I just walked into Paradise. Aqua Terra is THE IDEAL place to rest, relax and recharge the batteries" the views from the balcony add to the tranquility of the place. Herewith we want to share our horrible experience with you and any upcoming potential guests for this resident.We booked this place because of his high ranking on Tripadvisor and booking.com and his aclaimed high security standards.To be honest the view from the rooms is really like displayed on the pictures. The rest was pure horror.During Checkin the Manager showed us the room and emphasized how safe the place is. Nevertheless we wanted to put stuff in the safe, but it was impossible, because the safes there are to small to put more than passports in.After we returned from our first Dinner (extern), we were directly confronted with robbers in our room. They threatened us with weapons. We left the area running immediatly. Later basically all our stuff was stolen. Since it was the basement room, they simply broke through the window. They stole e.g. Laptop, Camera, smartphones, Ipads, Credit cards, Clothes, money and so much more...We immediatly tried to reach the manager of the hotel, but no one was available. Even though the manager lives in one of the rooms of the resident it took her 60 minutes to arrive. Afterwards she called the police which also needed 90 Minutes to arrive. Seriously!!!After one day we left that place because we were to scared to stay any longer as neccessary.We stayed three more weeks in the country and we expected the hotel to come back to us with any kind of compensation, official excuse or resolution.But: Since 8 months we now are in fight with the hotel to get compensated. We even had to assign a local lawyer now, who fights for our interests.The hotel denies any mistakes made but as proven: The fence was gappy installed, the security cameras switched of, the mentioned panic button didn’t exist, the hotel management was not available in an emergency and the hotel failed to inform us that the same year they had already two other burglaries.Herewith we want to warn anyone to go to this hotel. It simply looks nice but the Management failes its obligations completely. We still fight for compensation of our almost 8.000 Euro loss and my girlfriend still has nightmares after this day. There is a township just in the mountains behind the hotel, so we know exactly where all our stolen stuff went. We want you to be aware of this before you book this place, maybe even with kids. Dangerous!!!We don’t recommend this hotel anyhow and don’t want anyone to share our experience.

Really comfy , super clean , few issues with TV! Host was fantastic Garth, breakfast prepared by Peter, outstanding beautiful Fluffy omlette !

The owners are just fantastic people!!! Brilliant property with stunning sea views. Everything was really clean and fresh. For once in a very long time I was completely satisfied with accommodation in South Africa because it been going down hill fast. Brilliant, keep up the good work!!!

The location was fantastic. Aqua Terra Boutique Guesthouse is up a steep hill that's slightly tricky to drive, but the views make it totally worth it. Its within a gated compound, so its totally secure.Garth and Natalie are the most amazing hosts. Lovely conversationalists and happy to help with recommendations and so many other things. Staying here at Aqua Terra Guest House, felt like we were staying with friends rather than just a B&B.The view! Oh my God, what can I say about it? It has to be seen to be experienced, photographs can't capture the magnificence.They have a lovely sit out area near the pool if its too chilly to get in the water itself.We had the most amazing hot breakfasts here with everything cooked to order.Our car was absolutely caked with mud, since we had driven through Knysna forest in the rain before arriving at Simons Town. We had planned to get it professionally washed in town, but when we returned in the morning for breakfast after a morning beach trip, a member of staff actually carried multiple buckets of water up flights of stairs and cleaned our mud encrusted car and had it shining almost like new! That was above and beyond any expectations we have ever had of any B&B. Garth & Natalie, you and your staff have set the bar so high, no other place is ever going to come close enough to match it.We absolutely loved spending a couple of days in Simons Town, we got to reach the penguins way before the tourist buses from Cape Town arrived and so we were able to spend hours with the penguins with no one else around and actually just observe their natural behaviour without any other distractions.Zora their dog is a darling. She is an outdoor dog, extremely well behaved who can be gentle as a butterfly, but can also be the fiercest watchdog ever!

Fantastic home, modern finish and great hospitality from the host. Highly recommend a stay here when visiting Boulders Bay. We plan to stay again in the future. There is an infinity pool as well!

What an awesome experience! From the picturesque views, gorgeous interior decor, spacious bedroom and personal involvement of the owners. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Garth and Natalie for your exceptional hospitality, we will definitely be back.

One of the best places we stayed in during our trip around the Eastern and Western Cape!Super friendly staff and delicious breakfast.We stayed in the executive suite and had an awsome view over the bay.When we return to South Africa we will book again for sure!
