TLScontact – Visa Application Centre Johannesburg

Please advise me on why you guys say it takes up to 3 weeks to receive your UK holiday visa meanwhile that is untrue. I have been trying everyday to call and find out what is going on but there is no one to assist me and my reference number. Flights and traveling is not cheap. It’s extremely disappointing that it’s easy for you guys to receive a payment but to keep a customer updated or stand by your word in black and white is too much to ask. Please advise me on who I can contact about my visa and my passport as it is has been over 3 weeks and my flight approaching really soon.

Why do they even bother to provide a phone number? Second day in a row I'm unable to reach them by phone.Update: their in-person service is actually quite good. Of course there's the bad experiences you'll hear about while you wait in the queue, about documents taking forever and what not, but my experience, from the moment I walked into the building until the moment we collected our documents a about three weeks later, was pleasant for the most part. We never waited more than an hour, the staff were always friendly and helpful, then again, we did always make a point of greeting them respectfully and warmly, so perhaps we got back what we gave out.

It was very hard/deceving to get a free online time slot, you just have to read the small print at the bottom and try over and over, you will evantually get a free slot. ofcause they try everything to make you bpay this, by making it as hard as they can to book free slots. in reality, you stand in the same que, which is fast anyways. And you can anyhow arrive a little earlier than your time slot. I think theres just extra cup of coffee for that price, work out if thats worth it to you. Also best to scan and uploade all of the required docs before going in, even include stuff in the drop down list but not required on the check list. we supplied a lot of extra docs, seem to have worked. The rest of processing office is well run and we got our visa in 3 weeks.

terrible everything do not recommend.They say 15 working days and yet I will miss my flight because my Visa still hasn't arrived after 20! Also I cannot track anything or contact them. Edit: Now spent an extra R3700 to move flights and lost 11 days off my trip. Please go to a different Visa application centre.

I am Deaf. Last march I went to TLScontact so I was need staff to help me how to do and I don't remember one lady staff was help and explaining to me and showed me how to do. She is very friendly after I do my applied then I attended there on 24 April 2023. My application had processing after went to biometric verification again see her. I really appreciate to staff who did friendly to me and there was short time like 5-15mins.Now I need to TLScontact email because i can't speak I am Deaf. I want to know how's far with my visa? My travel to Uk on 30 May 2023.but I was misunderstanding from other staff was asking me when I arrival " I say 31 may so I checked my form for collection it's say 30May. I need TLScontact must new update for Deaf can access to the communications by email because Deaf can't speak or hear."

Every part of the process of dealing with TLS has been immensely disappointing and frustrating. Insane fees, asking additional fees for the smallest add-on, no way to contact them, unhelpful staff that don't communicate with you and waste your time. Don't get me started on the onerousness of the transit visa application. Beyond comment.

The security guards at the entrance are really amazing! They are so kind and helpful and ever so friendly at any time of the day!The staff inside… the less said about them, the better. Especially the old man who works at the visa/passport collection side. So unnecessarily mean and rude. He said I was stupid. I left that center no longer wanting to go to the UK for vacation because of how unpleasant the visa application process was. I’ve actually promised myself that this is my first and last time going to the UK on my dime. It’s not worth it and I haven’t even boarded the flight.Thank you to security staff for making the visit a little bit more pleasant.

Chaotic at entrance. Security confused on lines. The assisted service is a waste of time. They don't even check documents and made mistakes. So not sure what extra money you paying for. Very rushed and accuracy not good. You have to be very careful what your submit and double check everything they do. The process itself once in the queue is smooth.

I really enjoyed my time here. Staff are very friendly and efficient. There is comfortable seating place for people waiting to be served. Just have all your necessary documents on hand and you will be fine :) Thank you TLS for giving me a pleasant experience. If its your first time coming to TLS just ask any security for the entrance to 24 central and they will direct you. Here are some pictures of the outside in case you cant find the place :)
