Leokwe Camp
Absolutely amazing camp, my favorite from all the ones that I've been to. Fan and AC and mosquito nets. The family cabana is beautiful and every house has an amazing view. 1000% recommend!

The camp itself is really fantastic (although there are several issues with the larger park). The rooms are clean and neat with a lovely outside shower. There are ceiling fans in both the living room and the bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. There is an outside braai area aswell. The camp boasts a lovely communal swimming pool located between natural rocks where the elephants regularly come to drink.

First time staying at this camp but I've been coming to the park for many years which is always a wonderful experience! The facilities are great and the pool is a beautiful addition. Perfect for stalking the elephants as they come past to drink water, which is what we did :-)

Very comfortable units. You have to do all your own catering

Good experience good infrastructure nice units but not cleaned properly to many spiders inside unit and dust accumulated at various places inside unit. Friendly staff, aircon did not function properly but was fixed later after complains. Elephants around units at times great experience. Clothing cabinets dirty inside need a shower inside unit. Strange smell inside units .

The most beautiful Sanparks accommodation that I have been too. One of the places in SA you have to visit.

Leokwe Camp very beautiful park, peaceful with animals roaming freely around.beautiful but dangerous need to be careful about your surroundings. On camp the is no network reception so be prepared not to have network for the rest of you stay. The pool is breathtaking

Leokwe Camp
Leokwe Camp is beautifully situated and clean - HOWEVER, the condition of the chalets is poor due to lack of maintenance to upkeep the paint work and the showers don't work properly. Had an issue while there, lodged a complaint and weeks later still no reply and what is being done. Feedback is a non-entity. Star rating is based on feedback

Mapungubwe is a unique park and the Leokwe Camp offers all the comfort needed to appreciate the experience to its fullest. The chalets are spacious and fully equipped. Everything is new and working perfectly. Enjoy a braai under the stars on your private terrace and don't miss the rock pool where elephants or giraffe sometimes come drink. I highly recommend the Heritage site walk in the morning followed by the visit of the museum and the different view points throughought the park. A 4x4 is needed and the best time to visit is September, October and November
