Excellent products and outstanding customer service

When I was trying to find a chlorinator for my pool, I looked at all the big brands - and they were ridiculously expensive. Then I came across a locally manufactured product called Sea Salt that was sooo well priced. I have been VERY happy with it. It has been in use for about 6 years with no issues whatsoever! When the anode finally wore out (nothing lasts forever), I simply went to the factory (this location) and for R500 got a replacement (and they fitted it and gave it a quick service) and it was as good as new. This is, simply, an excellent example of a local company doing great work.

Wow, wow, wow. I can honestly say that I have NEVER experienced such good service in my life!! Myfanwi (I hope I spelt it correctly) is an incredible human being. She never made me feel stupid in her area of expertise, asked many right questions and proposed many solutions. What an incredible asset to that business. I was inspired and grateful after speaking to her. I will definitely be looking at how I treat my clients and how they feel after speaking to me, after experiencing this level of incredible service. Thank you Myfanwi and well done.

Simple explanation. Anyone can contact me for further in depth explanation on how this company manages a fault on a product. It seems they will try their utmost to try and repair a clearly faulty chlorinator. As this is the 3rd time that this chlorinator black round cover and internal parts have been removed and replaced. Clearly I paid full price for a brand new one but yet on the second round you would assume they would have replaced the chlorinator with the contractor to keep the customer happy, but no that has not happened. Today is the 3rd time that Pool Doctor in Tableview has come to re install parts that are merely repaired from a brand new chlorinator that was bought from Sea Salt Chlorinators. They also mentioned that this has not happened before Mmm... that's for you to decide. Monday I want my money back or a brand new one installed. It clearly shows that if it's true that this is a first time happening it clearly shows that Sea Salt does not know how to handle replacement but would rather try to repair as to not occur costs on their side. This is giving Pool Doctor also a bad name as their hands are tied. In good faith I request a full refund or full replacement. Try and thing how the customer feels at this stage common 3 times!!! Maybe they pride themselves in the quality of the product and adamant that it can't be faulty but can't come to terms that it can fail at times. As you can see the photos attached taken 2/04/2022 my wires taped up and internal parts removed and going back to you guys for the 4th time.!!!!!

What can I say about Mike and the sea salt team met and exceeded my expectations. I had a pool installed in August with a SS chloronator and when I had issues the pool company were a bit lost as they didn't know the internals of the unit.A few Whatsapp messages and calls to Mike and my unit was pulled and shipped to to their nearest postnet the following day. Fault was found, unit tested and returned to me. Total turnaround time was under a week. Mike even covered the cost of the postage.This is why I bought a local brand as I wanted the backup that I would not have got with an imported unit. Mike, you guys have a solid product and you don't ignore the customer when they have an issue.Keep it up.

I've had the CSalt chlorinator since 2009. The product is decent quality and I've had no real issues. In hindsight should have paid extra for self cleaning as I need to clean at least once every 2 weeks. I've had minor issues but whenever I call CSalt, the service and support offered is top class. Very friendly and helpful. Answers all questions and provides sufficient detail without any hesitation.Highly recommend with the after sales service almost consistently great 10 years later and a good quality product still ticking along. Well priced too relative to alternatives such as Zodiac.

Absolutely fantastic service from Sea Salt today.took my 2 year old cs 5 in to be checked this morning to be told that it was faulty, probably damaged due to load shedding. At 3 pm i was called to collect the chlorinator, repaired and NO Charge!! Amazing . I will certainly recommend this company to anyone considering a salt chlorinator.

Friendly and efficient after sales service - I took the electrodes apart for a (unnecessary) deep clean and put it back incorrectly - suffered the whole summer with too little chlorine - finally took the unit in... a couple of minutes and it was all back the way it should be and within a couple of days the pool chlorine levels etc. all back in shape. All done in a friendly, efficient way!
