This is most beautiful place ever. I love it here so much, love watching whales and dolphins and other ocean creatures even though sometimes we don't see them here all the time. Love to take lovely photographs of the sunset and sunrise

Amazing view and a great atmosphere, this is an amazing place that can change your mood and state of mind. Watching the water go up and down as if its breathing makes you feel the life that lives within and connects with your subconscious to create a calming effect. Stopping here after a long day at work will make you have a better more relaxed demeanor for the evening to come. Unfortunately, there are no public restrooms which lowers the time you can spend here. We have only been able to see the Whales far away and without a good camera we would have not known that it was a whale, although we might only have missed them. We have however seen other see live and birds including Dolphins, Seals, and albatross. This place is worth a visit even if it’s not whale season. Park and recreational employees can be seen a lot cleaning the area as well as emptying the bins, thanks for the hard work and making this place amazing. Not all hero’s ware capes.

What a view at the start of the scenic Clarence Drive. It can get a bit crowded at times but it is so worth a stop. Luckily we are local so we can drive up when its quiet and enjoy the view over the whole of the bay. It can get difficult trying to get back out onto traffic and some days there are coffee vendors which makes a pleasant little addition to sitting and trying to spot any movement in the waves below. It's not just whales that can be seen. Across the bay on clear days you can see Simon's Town and the back of Table Mountain as well as Muizenburg. To you right Gorgeous Gordon's Bay sweeping up to Harbour Island and Strand. I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country.
