Great place to disconnect from a busy lifestyle and gain some perspective on a minimalist, self sustaining lifestyle. Get to experience staying in the middle of the Nguni cattle and farm animals. Clean and comfortable beds with all the essentials you need, but don't expect a luxury stay. The beauty of this stay is in the unique experience it offers.

Hillybilly is a must stop on the R43 just before Ceres. Food includes pizzas, burgers, and chips, to name but a few. Great selection of drinks, snacks (especially their cheeses!!) and other padstal goodies. Kids can enjoy the rolling lawns, mini kiddies, zipline, and swings. The atmosphere is relaxing, farm style and with great service. The locals always gather on a Friday afternoon for some sundowner drinks to celebrate another successful farming week. Tanith and Steven are great hosts and will go the extra mile for their guests. They also offer accommodation and laser tag parties.

Simply lekker with no fuss and frills. Had the kudu sandwich and it's caused serious cravings to go back. One the most authentic padstals in the Cape with a chef that braais better than your dad ever will. Thanks for the padkos!
