Nice vibe, good drinks. Breakfast only until 10:30. The fish and chips was a disaster, chips not cooked and white. Batter wet and not crispy. Meals were a let down

Super nice Staff. A few hiccups with serving food to 16 of us at a time. We understood. Otherwise had a fabulous time there. Will definitely go again

We had driven from St Helena Bay, and had to wait for more than 45 minutes for our food. When the food arrived, the kids were served first, the waitress then delivered the rest of the food to another table that had arrived after us and had ordered the same food as us. When they realised the error, the waitress who had caused the error, did not even apologise!. Our original waitress apologized, offered us a discount on alcoholic drinks, a gesture that really meant little to us, we accepted it nonetheless . The restuarant could not immediately replace the order, we were told we had to wait for a longer period as they had to get new oil". We left without having had lunch

The Panty bar is just simply amazing. Enjoyed a few pints with very friendly locals and made instant friends.

This hotel has been here since before the road was tarred. The atmosphere is best described by the name of the in-house hotel bar (The Panty Bar). No frills but oh so much culture and history.

Stopped for lunch.. staff very welcoming and the food was plentiful and tasty.. the position overlooking the main road and an open area where hawkers hang around is not pleasant .. neither is constantly being accosted by various sellers of seafood who don't want to take no for an answer.

From the start it was fantastic. The service we revieved when arriving was friendly and welcoming. Our rooms where big with views of the ocean plus the added benefit of a little balcony. Bathrooms were terrific. Breakfast was delicious! And the location is perfect.

As a family we always go to the hotel once a holiday for the great food. This year we had a horrible experience! The food was bland as can be, the prawns weren’t even cleaned and when we spoke to the manager about it she was exceptionally rude. First she denied the very clearly dirty prawn, then when she finally accepted it she called my dad childish for saying something at all. She also yelled at him and he asked her not to yell and closed his ear, she walked away and very publicly said “he’s a 100 and then closes his ear if I talk to him”. Out waitress was amazing.

Always a party. However, when we called earlier in the day, we were told that there were rooms available. When we arrived that evening to check in, we were told that they only had one room available, after specifically asking for more. Kind of a letdown. This happened on Saturday, 03 June 2023
