Avanti Restaurant
We had dinner at Avanti on a cold and rainy evening. The ambience was very enjoyable as were the meals we ordered. What really stood out for us was the way our waiter (Happy) and manager (Tumi) handled an issue with one of our meals. They went out of their way to rectify the issue and bent over backwards to ensure the experience did not spoil the evening for us. Thank you Happy and Tumi for your caring and professional display of customer service at its best!

It was quiet at a Monday lunchtime, but the food was delicious and a friendly waiter serving us. I would like to try out more of the menu when we get to Bloemfontein again.

Loved it, food tastes great, friendly, helpful service, not too in your face which we prefer and nice play area for small children, they also loved it. Prices also not bad. Will definitely visit again.

What a very Happy and Special lunch 20 May 2023. Lina went out of her way from the get go to be exceptionally helpful, kind and accommodating. We were prepared to wait as everything is freshly prepared...delicious meals were served and worth the calories!! The staff were friendly and courteous. A fabulous get together 34 of us, celebrating Greenhill Convent in Bloemfontein which regrettably, closed down in 1980. Gone...but never forgotten. Semper Fidelis! Thank you Avanti!!

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of Le Belle Guesthouse. A great recommendation. Food is amazing, well priced, great quality. Service is up with the best. The vibe is good too and there is a nice kids play area so that parents can unwind a bit.

The pasta was really great! Just wish they had put some heaters on in the restaurant for a below 10 degree night! Would definitely recommend for the food, just take a jacket!

We have visited Avanti a few times now and on our last few visits, the service is SLOW. The wait for food is way too long not to mention trying to get the attention of someone to actually take your order. Every other table were served fast except us. Our waitress actually stopped me from placing an order to see to another tables bill and then made us wait a few more minutes before returning to take an order which we waited 30 minutes to place. This is just ridiculous.
