The dam & nature reserve is well looked after. There's wildlife, campsites and chalets for booking. Entrance at the gate for a day is R30 an adult. Picnic sites are kept clean and fresh, abolition available almost every 1km

Albert Falls is such a lovely place to visit, the roads are terrible driving in you need to drive slowly if you value your tyres it does look like they are starting to fix some of the potholes, toilets are not in good condition. The game and wildlife are beautiful and some good birding

Awesome family get away. Clean shower and toilets. Not far from Durban. Reasonable rates for camping. Safe for the kids. Not far from PMB. Awesome game drive for R60 per person. Was 2.5 hrs long. Well educated and knowledgeable game rangers. Some awesome wildlife that roam free around the campsite.

Nice place popular for fishing , boating and to have a braai with a decent nature reserve that offer some animals - zebra , Impala , giraffe Also worth while for birding. Use your Rhino card if you have to get in.

I've never loved a dam more than I love Albert Falls.. a magnificent peace of nature and tranquility coupled with animals of all kinds all over the dam free range ... is just the place I love to be... more than just frequently.. Patrols at night by the security as well as local residents (the zebras) make for an exceptional outdoor experience.. I loved camping here and fishing was fun too. It's a must see beauty.

Great experience at Hoopoe log Cabins! The wildlife and tranquility is amazing for a weekend getaway. Fishing is great, with lots of great bass spots around the dam.

Beautiful setting, ablutions in state owned standard. Although there is miles of shore for day visitors, a lot of them come into the caravan park, and there is no control on this.

Campsites are well kept. Chalets are lovely to stay at. Bird life is wonderful, wildlife and fishing all in the same place. Lovely for picnic's and day trips.

Enjoyed my stay at Albert Falls Chalets. Well Maintained and beautiful place. Tranquil and restful place and getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
