Slow response time and undertrained call staff who cannot answer simple questions. We had an attempted breakin over Friday evening and the response guy didn't know what all to ask for. We then received an sms saying we had a signal interruption over Sunday, but no one called to ask us if the property was okay nor to check if we were home or not. Upon arrival the alarm triggered and we couldn't disarm it for some time. Control room eventually called more than 5 minutes and chatted with me for about 4 minutes as I was complaining before dispatching a respondent. Fortunately we know him and could raise our concerns with him. I was also told by the control room respondent that technical support would be contacting me regarding the issues and I was left needing to contact them. Upon enquiry of the call out costs, etc I had to ask the same questions several times in order to get an accurate response. Their tech staff are over booked and they require after hour fees at R550, never mind that that is more than our monthly fee. Surely this company owes it to its client to offer good, consistent service!

Still getting sms's from Vetus Schola, about the alarm at my previous work place in Somerset West, two years after I left there and numerous calls by various people, to take my number off their list.

Excellent service. There is armed response guy, I didn't ask his name, but he really makes us feel safe as we work till 9 in Gants Plaza on a weekend. He worked 25th Feb and 26th Feb. He deserves a big bonus.

Always willing to help the community even if you are not a member. Called them twice already to assist and they gladly assisted. Well done to the team keep Somerset West safer.

I still get calls when new home owners' alarm goes off. I have requested multiple times to remove my number from their system.

Firstly after having paid Vetus Schools to connect out alarm but stopped working I continued to pay via debit order for months while It was not working. I have been calling and emailing for 3 months asking for a technician. I was promised so many times a technician would come or they would get back to me. I eventually had no choice but to cancel as I was paying for a service that was not working. This is the 4th month now they are billing me and dispute the emence amount of time wasted trying to get them to come and fix my alarm with unmet promises , I now have to waste time disputing and getting a reverse and refund via the bank dispute having cancelled their service. Secondly if you try phone them in an emergency you have through a switchboard. Often when trying to call the reception your hold time was exceptionally long and on many occasions it just cut off. Disgusting service!

If I could rate this service with zero stars, I would. Their accounts department is beyond useless. Over collection via debit orders, failure to process refunds, failure of management to step in. Even the owner cannot be bothered. They strike a good balance between incompetence and not giving a sh!t. Save yourself the trouble and use another service provider.
