Ster-Kinekor Greenstone

Staff is not really helpful, quite cold actually. The kiddies cinema is nice. The popcorn is not pleasant... they need to go back to the original red and white brand... this blue brand popcorn is just bitter didn't enjoy it at all. Need to improve on overall service.

I mean we got there, watched a movie and left. There wasn't much to it. But the pop corn price, mhhhh they are high

Cinema was nice and clean, movies are only value for money if you book with loyalty offers etc, otherwise with snacks you can easily end up spending about R600 for 3 of you. A real luxury at the moment.29/03/2023- just a follow up, @Sterkinekor why don't you charge 50 bucks a ticket and fill your theatres, went yesterday- school holidays - and there were 4 people in our cinema. Then you can still make your 3000% mark up on your popcorn! They also forgot to dim the lights, I had to leave the cinema to ask them to do so.

We went to see “Strange World” a few weeks ago at Ster Kinekor Greenstone. The power went off 15 minutes into the movie. We were asked to wait until the generators kicked in, but over 30 minutes of sitting in the dark later, they still hadn’t. All the patrons of ALL the movies were then asked to stand in a queue to collect their complimentary ticket, to watch a free movie another day.That took over an hour.Today we wanted to see Guardians of the Galaxy with our complimentary tickets from before. The Ster Kinekor app said that it would be showing at 18:15. We got there and the theatre was closed. Staff informed us that there were no 6pm movies on, everything was closing for the night, and that the app should’ve been updated to reflect that. So no movie once again.Extremely disappointing service all round from this branch. The staff have a very “not my problem” attitude. They don’t care that people are being put out. Not professional at all. We will not go there in future.

I had a really disappointing experience! They said the movie was half price on a Tuesday so I took my boys and we wanted to book It the half price that they said". When I booked they Charged me so much it was full price! They said sorry after 7pm it does not apply. But when I initially came there why didn't they say so!!! I won't go back to Greenstone or Sterkinekor again. Tx

The kids cinema is amazing. The slide in the cinema is so awesome as well. Kids to get restless sitting for long periods are able to play while the movie is on. It’s very colourful and they accommodate those small kids who don’t like the darkness.

The cinema whas dirty and don't know why ster kinekor decided that popcorn should be a better option to sell in a brown bag it's awful

Ster-Kinekor Greenstone is definitely one of the better of the Ster-Kinekor cinema groups in Jozie. The cinema was clean and didn't smell of old stale popcorn or that usual weird smell you sometimes get.4 stars only because we watched the new Avatar: The Way of Water and the screen appeared dim amd badly lit in terms of colour and clarity. This really did put a damper and what was an incredible movie.The sound was amazing, so big ups there.Booking is easy, either online or self service at one of the many touch screen setups as you enter to the right.Don't forget to book your snacks and drinks at the same time as this is a cashless facility.Kids cinema option also available for a movie cozy option, softer sound and slide in the actual theater.PS4's also available in the lobby while you wait.

Ster-Kinekor Greenstone is great! Friendly staff, very helpful.

Terrible service at your popcorn / drinks counter on Sunday gone past ( 16/04/2023 ) - the lady behind the counter was rude and not forthcoming at all.We will take a drive to your competitor next time...
