River Bottom

Very nice shop, packed with stuff. Nice for specimen carp fishing as well. Just a bit pricey.I like this shop a lot.

Bought a rod from them in December 2022,2 days in, rod broken, according to River Bottom user is the problem, on a strike of a catfish it snapped on one place, the tip broke due to the fall of the original weak spot.When it got taken back, it was said they will send it to get repaired, now i need to buy a tip.Long stories told was on back of a bakkie(don’t own one) scratch. Etc, looking to blame than taking responsibility and looking to resolve.Principal matter, spent easy to 30k at them, nice store, have all you can think of, but if the problems comes, hands in the air.Sad, as this is a nice store.I don’t care about the 1k Spent on the rod, I do however care about how they do customers service.Not interested in a solution, did not even ask for refund.Just my experience….The response is a joke, according to logic, a rod will have marks after it brakes.However, as i said my experience, and I will recommend as nice store, but poor customer service skills.

Awesome little fishing shop in Parys.They have almost EVERYTHING. And relatively cheap. Cheaper than joburg!!

Large variety of tackle for both sea, dam and river angling, staff very helpful as they greet you by the door and go around assisting you. Owner are friendly and helpful too. Prices are competitive and cheaper than other stores in the area. All covid 19 rules adhered to in this store.

This is the most amazing place! We discovered it just recently! Would gladly visit them again for all our fishing needs.

Do have a very big variety of Fishing stuff. For sure the right place to go.Unfortunately can not say the same for service.The ladies definitely not the friendliest, i experience.If they were bid more willing to assit i would definitely spend much more than the R800 i did spend.
