Recently joined the gym on the 25th October 2022, and the guy that signed me lied and said if I joined then I will get “the FIRST month free”, only for me to walk in there few days later early November to be told I’m blocked coz the debit order didn’t go through. When I explain to the manager how it wasn’t supposed to deduct this month because of the “agreement” when I joined, all the guy could tell me was that the person who signed me at the gym LIED and is no longer working for them. It’s not that I was going to get the FIRST MONTH free, but its THE REST OF THE MONTH FREE. So all in all, the manager and the employees have different information about how their packages work, and their employee lied to make a sale that day as they have a certain number of sales to make a day. Anyways, the manager assured me he was gonna be working on this matter, till today I haven’t heard from them.NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR A NEW MEMBER!!! And if nothing is done on the matter, I’m definitely not renewing my contract when this one ends!!!

Excellent place! When you walk into this gym you get greeted by a friendly face that is actually glad to see you (this takes a lot to do at 5 in the morning) The music is amazing, (no my horse died and my wife ran off with. . . Music)The gym equipment is super clean and most units has 2 or 3 of the same. No wait

The absolute worst customer service at the accounts department. I am sure they probably sit and do nothing all day. They don't escalate any problems and if they do the managers is also just as bad with assisting with problems. Love the gym but the accounts department is the reason for my cancellation.

I can't speak badly about the reception and management who were nothing but good to me. The accounts department and top management is the worst. Will never go back to the gym because of them and will tell everyone I know not to use that gym.What happened when i went to cancel my contract is that they wanted to hold me liable for 24 months and it took 3 days of me going there and over 3 hours to fix the issue. The fact that reception struggled to get hold of accounts department shows that there is a massive issue this problem could of been solved in 15 minutes but it was stretched out. I presume it is a stalling method used to stop people from canceling because they have to jump through so many hoops the fact that signing up barely took 10 minutes is a indication that this matter can be resolved. This method of outsourcing is been used in business across South Africa as way to keep cashflow but at what cost. I hope you can learn from this and be better.All in all would give the top level management a 0/5 and accounts department a 2/5

To Ignite Fitness Manager PE.Please note that I was very happy with the service I got from Bianca at Sales. She was friendly and professional, a good salesperson without being pushy. Hold on to her, she's a good employee!

Good variety of facilities and spacious. Friendly staff. Negative issues are that there seem to be too many treadmills and fitness machines that are empty, yet dumbells and benches are overcrowded. Gym shuts during loadshedding at night due too no light, where i feel not much effort (extra expense) could easily overcome this.

This place is an absolute joke! My husband had a contract 01 April 2021 to end March 2022. We have canceled 3 times and they still debiting our account. Yesterday called again and this morning debited again! Definitely taking this further as they owe us now like over R4000! No after market service.

After paying for your contract (that they make you sign unaware of it) After paying for 12 months and you nolonger go there they still take your money from the account and they tell you if you don't cancel we still take the money! What's the meaning of 12 month contract if they still come after you after paying for all the months!

Prestige gym with beautiful equipment. Bianca my sales consultant was excellent. She gave me a full tour of the gym and showed me how to use some of the machines that I am not familiar with. She went out of her way to find suitable packages for myself and my partner. This was the best experience I have had with a sales consultant at a gym. She is definitely an asset to the Ignite team.
