Resort itself very pleasant. Stayed in Chalet that was great, clean and comfy. Lots of activities onsite. Only drawback no where else to go to in the vacinity as this is about 30+ km's out of town. Also, last stretch of road leading to resort is along a 30 km stretch of dirt road that really needs attention. If you go by normal car, take it easy as it is rough..

No WiFi in the rooms and not much heat (we used the stove-top for heating. Spacious rooms and nicely equipped kitchen. The road to the hotel is totally unpaved full of potholes - horrible to drive on! Beautiful grounds and facilities

Bushmans Nek Berg and Trout Resort
We came to hike the Berg and enjoyed every minute. Our log cabin was very cold, no heaters but did have a fireplace which we used every night. After speaking to management they supplied us with an oil heater. Stunning views from our deck, lots of birdlife around. Lots to do at the resort. We built their puzzle, played pool and put-put and enjoyed dinners in the restaurant. We hiked through the mountains in the area and were spoiled with the warm days in May, even with snow on the mountains. Highly recommended for a week of relaxation.

Friendly staff, always ready to assist. Food was amazing!! Plenty of activities to keep young and old busy.Hotel can give upfront info in the condition of gravel road.Also, promote the smaller places in the area as well. Silverstream has a small shop where you can stock up on basic items at reasonable prices instead of driving to Underberg.Update the hiking maps and information.Resort is in need of maintenance and upgrades.

The place is so refreshing; waking up on the mountain view was the best part of my stay. They have beautiful accommodation rooms, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I loved everything about the place

Bushman Nek is always our first choice for a family holiday. The staff are amazing and the kiddies activities are always a hit for the kids and the log cabins are spacious, cosy and absolutely stunning. Rooms are cleaned daily by the most amazing ladies. Definitely cannot wait for our next family holiday.

Bushmans Nek Berg and Trout Resort
An old hotel in great condition with either log cabins or chalets, lovely maintained and kept super clean. Staff really friendly. The main verandah has an all day manned bar and overlooks the pools and mountains. You can sit there forever. The restaurant is open all day with a small menu and the food is great. This is a really beautiful part of the Berg and worth the 3,5hour drive from Durban.

We had a wonderful trip to bushmens neck and will definitely be visiting again soon. The bird life is amazing in this area. The resort is really beautiful. We absolutely love the hydrangeas all over the resort. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. And towels are beautifully folded everyday! Our kids loved every minute. There is so much to do in and around the resort.

Beautiful scenery. Friendly staff and assistance excellent.Clean place. Dirt road a nightmare and very long. Will recommend the place to family and friends. We enjoyed the music quiz and BINGO. Will visit again.

Great family fun vibes, uninterrupted mountain views. Good restaurant on site. Helpful entertainment staff, lots to do at the resort for kids. Pack warm jackets!
