Clifford's Lodge

We booked for 37 guests but the menu wasn't exactly as it was . we ordered 2 starch but only got served one.

Lovey lodge, clean, and the service is top class. It was very easy to find as well. I enjoyed the breakfast as well as the spa. I would stay there again if in the area. They have a lovely pool but I didn’t get to experience. The only challenge is the parking which is on the street. Recommended to book before getting there to avoid disappointment .

It's a nice and cozy place. Professionally ran. We enjoyed every moment there

Very clean environment. All rooms very clean. Working Aircon. Just a few concerns1) Food - The place has an assumption that everyone eats everything. So you will be served tripe or medium raw eggs by default.2) Noise - The place has a bar. If you want a peaceful night, this is not your kind of place. Disco Speakers will be right in your ears.3) Security - There is an assumption that because there is CCTV, you will be safe. Employ a body at night please. We seldom leave valuables in cars.4) Toilets/Bathrooms - Some rooms have none. You wake up at night to pee and have to walk across a sitting room, or you carry your toiletries to the bathroom across the hallway to take a shower

Great spot for unwinding. Pool, free WiFi, cellphone charging facilities while you enjoy a nice cold beverage.

Had water problem day one but second day evrything was fine, they have back up generator as well. Great service

My experience was great. The bar man, Wallace is so hospitable. Mpho the cook is so amazing.

I’m only giving a 4 star because I was not using the accommodation but conference facilities only.The whole experience was great from trying to get a quote right through to the service provided. There was no noise during our time there and the staff is friendly from reception- Juliet was so accommodating. The cold breakfast (sandwiches) was well presented and enough options for drinks. The lunch was amazing especially the stewed beef, you can go there just for that stewed beef. Compliments to the chef.All in all me and my team would have our meetings there always if that was possible. Plus the cost is reasonable.

The Lodge is good enough considering where it is located. During my stay we had fresh water available through out, and during loadshedding a generator was on standby to assist in regard to electricity. The availability of free Wi-Fi was also a welcomed Suprise. If I have to balance it out, I will say that the service could be a bit better though and the organisational skills need to be improved a tad bit.
