Huge open beach, huge rocks and rock pools. A river estuary. The beach is also very sparsely populated with people most of the time. So it's a nice quiet and spacious beach.

Typical isolated seaside fishing town: Great fishing and easy and QUIET beach access. Plenty of rocks for fishing off of, and a rock pool to swim in. The river is also easy to access, and you can rent day boats from some of the locals (none of the hectic commercial stuff you normally find).1 functioning restaurant (tasty but slow). There is also a falconer in town who is planning on setting up a bird rehab center - worth a visit

Definitely one of the better options if you're looking for a quiet beach during peak times. Pretty windy and very steep beach, but definitely worth the quiet

Luv this tranquil beach and the river mouth. The town is beautiful with many small shops and eating spots.
