We had an excellent weekend break at the Africamps. The camp was very tranquil and peaceful.It was so relaxing to experience the farm atmosphere and be around other campers who all came to unwind and create a peaceful situation.One could just relax and worry about unrulyness etc. Our dog snuggles had such a good time

Absolutely loved our trip here. We did an affordable wine tasting, and our host was really great and welcoming. This is a kid friendly and dog friendly place with large lawns and stunning dining set up. Would definitely recommend and be back again!

Nice place for the kids. The food though is sub standerd and we waited very long, with people arriving after us and eating before us! I am not a complainer, but this was bad. My glass of wine was full of bugs. Had to replace it.

Good accommodation if you want an escape from the city. We stayed in one of the well appointed cottages in the middle of the cape winter, they came with a fireplace which was a great feature. Accommodation suited our needs as a family traveling with children. While there was no TV in the unit we had, the WiFi made up for that keeping the kids entertained on their devices.Popped in in December for wine tasting and to experience their dining and we were delighted. Anchun was a great host. Their wines are easy on the palate and the wine tasting experience was one of the most affordable we have experienced. Pop in here when in the area.

Beautiful estate with landscape views. Very friendly dogs, ‘crackling’ the pig and the ducks made for a fun time. The food was disappointing.

Sadly not a good experience. Oh the views are wonderful and the pot belly pg wandering around is cute as are the duck but that was not the purpose of our visit. We came for lunch and my experience was not good. Staff wasn’t at tentative and as we were the only guests I would have expected more anticipation. I ordered the chicken meatballs with noodles in a broth. The meatballs were okay, not amazing just okay but the noodles were horrible. Tough and I’m sure were heated with the equally disappointing broth in a microwave to such a temperature that it scalded. The broth was salty beyond edible. Very disappointed. Others ordered fish and chips with a similar experience. Batter soggy

We had an unpleasant experience unfortunately. We were seated at 11am at the restaurant. First we were told my 8yr old daughter can't have the small milkshake on the menu, only the large. We were thinking about ordering breakfast, but because the menu stated that breakfast was served until 11am only, we placed our order from the lunch menu. A couple of minutes later a different waitress approached and informed us that we cant order lunch either, because lunch orders open at 12 only. The lady in charge made no attempt to resolve the issue, so we had lunch at a different venue.
