Granny’s Tidal Pool
The best tidal pool I saw in Margate. It slopes so that there is a shallow and a deep end, the area is beautiful and it’s pretty quiet. There is no swimming beach nearby. There is a beach wheelchair available to the public if need be.

Southbroom Granny's Tidal Pool is super good with lovely clean ablutions. Suitable for all ages and even the fishing alongside the pool was succesful

Granny’s Tidal Pool
Great pool for the whole family. Wheel chair access and clean toilets and showers make this beach one my favorites. The tidal pool gets fresh sea water washed in every high tide. The pool is a lot calmer on the low tide as waves tend to wash in on the high tide but it’s safer than swimming in he open ocean as there are no lifeguards at this beach.

A bench or two would be nice - not easy for Grannies" to perch on the rocks or sit flat on the sand.Otherwise a very pleasant experience."

Very nice quaint place, nice and quiet. The pool is awesome. Other than that its pretty much a normal beach with lots of rocks
