Oven Delights Bakery

I love a good old fashioned fruit loaf, and these guys make the absolute BEST fruit loaf ever! Always fresh, not too sweet, just perfectly balanced with raisins and cherrys. I come all the way to Unhlanga from pietermartizburg for this simple, delicious cake. They also make delicious naan, puri patha and roti. The selection of freshly baked cakes leaves one spolit for choice. The chocolate eclairs, mini cheese cakes and custard slices are simply decadent. I would highly recommend this bakery. It is always spotlessly clean. Service is good. One of my absolute favorite places for excellent baked treats. I think one of my favorite things about the cakes is that they are so well balanced... Nothing is too sweet.

Always have great Cakes and everything is always fresh whenever I visit. It would have gotten 5 stars but on my last visit I was told that the Bar One Swiss Roll Slice (Which I highly recommend as it is extremely delicious) tasted the same as the Bar One Log. Sadly it didn't and I was a little disappointed but it's no fault on the company, I'll still be back to enjoy a Bar One Slice soon. Covid Procedures are also taken seriously here and as far as everything I've seen, its a safe place to visit

Very impressed by the eggless cake we got. We chose the milky bar cake and it was delicious. The texture of the cake was so fluffy and airy, sweetness was just right.Very glad that we tried this bakery out.

Has most things a bakery has. There aren't too many choices of large cake. But of you looking for something with your tea, quick lunch, or dessert, this is your place. They also do finger foods for functions. Store is clean. Food always seems fresh. All Covid19 protocols adhered to. The store isn't busy recently which is great when you want to keep adding to the till. The prices are a bit high, you can spend a few R100 without realising it. Staff seems friendly and in a good location with lots of parking, which is free under 30 minutes and if that is the case you can leave without going to the pay station located at the entrance of the Coastlands hotel.

Went with my daughter here, and was treated awfully by the cashier. Don’t know who is hiring these people, but do better. Used to love this place, but will never set foot in again. Disgusting.
