What a pleasure it was to visit this quaint guesthouse and the owner, George, made us feel welcome from the start. We were a team of 8 people that stayed there 23 July 2019 and enjoyed the warm atmosphere. I can definitely recommend this establishment for a business trip or even leisure.

It was an awesome stay. Beautiful historic building. Clean rooms and excellent service. Tasteful breakfasts was served. The owners are kind and caring people . I will at anytime recommend the Feathers Inn to anyone. Thank you.

The place is really nice and quaint. It has amazing views of the mountain and really close to some cool activities like hiking (if you are the out door type). The owner is really friendly and it has good WiFi.

This beautiful guest house situated on the foot of the mountain is fit for a queen. Definitely coming back here. Friendly staff and Scottish owner/cheff/engineer George and staff is very warm. The rooms are beautiful with breathtaking views and always kept clean with a kettle and coffee and tea in all bedrooms as well as a working desk. Everything you need is here. With a rustic look and environmentally friendly this destination is beautiful. There is a restaurant on site and pool and braai/ barbeque area. Prefect for small intimate weddings; birthdays; honeymoon getaway; conferences and business trips. Will definitely be back.

WORST Bed & Breakfast experience of my life.When I first checked in the owner (George Fletcher) told me to keep an eye on my valuables cause his workers are okay but will steal money if you leave it (not a good sign). Because of this I had to hide my valuables and my xbox console every time I left the room.The website won't tell you but you're not allowed to eat in the room (that's why their is no microwave, couch or even fridge in your room).The owner is rude, petty and authoritative. I used the extra blanket on the spare bed since the heater was broken and he swore me out for using an extra blanket. The bin in the room wasn't empty and he cursed at me for using the bathroom bin. The TV was on a rolling stand so I moved it slightly forward to plug in my x-box one. George (owner) then swore me out for moving his furniture.Lastly, some of my hair product got on his linen pillowcases and he tried to kick me out at 5 pm unless I paid him R276 for 2 new pillow cases. I was forced to agree and pay him since it was such short notice and late in the evening but I first had listen to George's cursing and insulting me before I could even get out of my vehicle.I do not recommend this place. It truly the worst experience I've had at a Bed & Breakfast.
