We stayed at Pik-'n-Wyntjie, and I must say, Marie (the host) made us feel right at home. The cozy self-catering holiday home is surrounded by natural fynbos and offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. But what really made our stay special was Marie's warm hospitality and friendly personality. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time, and her attention to detail was impressive. From the well-equipped kitchen to the lovely outdoor area with a pool table and dartboard, Marie had thought of everything. And let's not forget the stunning views of the Kogelberg mountains! To sum it up, if you're looking for a home away from home and a host who will make you feel like family, then Pik-'n-Wyntjie is the place to be. Thank you, Marie, for a wonderful stay!

I recently stayed at Pik-'n-Wyntjie and I couldn't have asked for a better self-catering accommodation. The house is located in a picturesque coastal village called Betty's Bay, surrounded by natural fynbos, which makes for a stunning view. The location is also ideal as it's just a short drive from Cape Town, between Gordonsbay and Hermanus, giving easy access to explore all the beauty the Western Cape has to offer.The house itself is cozy, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bedrooms are comfortable, with the main bedroom fitted with a queen bed, the second bedroom furnished with a double bed, and the third bedroom fitted with 2 bunk beds, making it perfect for a family or group of friends. The bathroom is clean, with a shower, bath, and toilet, and there's even an outside shower for warm summer nights.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your meals, including a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and toaster. The open-plan lounge/dining room is perfect for entertaining, with an inside braai for a windy night, a Smart TV, and a DStv dish, although guests are required to bring their own decoder and smart card.The outdoor area is lovely, with a semi-enclosed covered patio with a pool table, dartboard, and table, perfect for entertaining both young and old. There are also wicker chairs that overlook the nature reserve, providing a breathtaking view of the Kogelberg mountains, making it the perfect backdrop for long sunset conversations. For the adventurous, there's a portable braai and umbrella provided, and for those who love to soak up the sun, there's a volleyball net, sandpit, and swing in the back yard of the spacious garden.The property is pet-friendly, making it the perfect place to bring your furry friends along. Additionally, the location is great, as it's just a 5-minute walk from Draadbaai, a well-known fishing and diving spot, a 10-minute walk from Silversands Beach and Stony Point Penguin Colony, and only a short drive to the hub of this unique little resort.Lastly, the hosts were excellent, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They kindly ask visitors to refrain from loud music and noise outside the house to preserve the tranquility of the Reserve.Overall, I highly recommend Pik-'n-Wyntjie for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped, and well-located self-catering accommodation. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and make lasting memories with your loved ones.

As an elderly couple with my husband being frail we found Marie to be very kind and helpful. The accommodation was clean & comfortable. Had a lovely, peaceful & relaxing breakaway with happy memories to look back on.
