Werner of Auto Tech came to my rescue on a Sunday afternoon in Port Alfred and helped me get home rhat evening. When he was told by VW agents that the repair needed tools that he did not have, he organised for the car to be towed to Grahamstown and helped me get back to where I was staying again. He would not accept any money for his help as he could not complete the work himself.
