Hossain meat market

When you swipe they round up the price. My bill was R105. The rounded it up to R110. When I asked they told me that's what they do and that was it. Decided I'm not coming there anymore. Like ever!Also I threw away the Mince I bought from the store. Horrible. Will stay completely away from this place forever. Same as the PnP next door. Horrible food all around. Better to just go to Century City if you want fresh meat and fresh food in general.

I am very disappointed with this Hossain Meat in Mitland after being a loyal client for over 3 years. Over the years l referred family and friends however my good faith with this butchery has come to an end. Yesterday l bought some steak meat for a braai valued R90. I didn't realise that the meat was frozen when l was in the shop but when l got home my wife noticed this when she was roasting it. The meat was smelly when cooking. I tried a few bites and that night was a difficult one as l had stomach cramps and running tummy the whole night. In the morning l decided to take the roasted meat back to the butcher. On my arrival I the Boss lady was shouting and fighting with one of the workers a coloured lady who is always friendly at the Till. When l presented my case to the Boss lady who l have known over the years did not show any sign of apology to me but rather was rude. For obvious reasons the guys who tasted the meat didn't not see anything wrong with the meat and were in full support of their Boss. I was hoping to resolve the issue amicably however I got very upset when the Boss lady said I had a running tummy because of the species l put on the meat and she said this without providing proof.

How do you drop a call in a dissatisfied customer trying to explain bad service! I will never buy at Hoosain Meat Market again and I will advise all my friends and family that buy there about my experience!

I made reference to Allies some time ago when it's come to cleanliness of this place and I now see the change. Even though the place is old, I see a lot of effort to have the place smelling well and clean.However I'm disappointment of the quality of meat that has dropped. My last purchase was a total waste of money as 2.5kg of the 4kg of meat smelled rotten and was thrown away. Same with the Danya sausages in the purchase before.Your stars are going down very fast.

Trip was made convenient. Shortest route was taken. Innovative and useful.

I always go there for shopping.. I like the place and the staff also I mean their service is good what I saw was amazing all the measures are followed especially in this time of covid19.
