PEP Benoni Lakeside Mall

Not happy with the way they answered(rudely) me when I asked to see the quality of packaged curtains as there was none on display. I bought 6 even though I was treated like a lunatic. Pls enforce efficient customer service.

I bought 2 pairs of earphones on the 26th of January at Pep lakeside mall and when I brought them home, one of the earphones the audio was low and the quality was like they were underwater and the other pair had to be repeatedly twisted and adjusted at the port in order for the audio to play properly, the very next day on the 27th of January, I tried to get them returned or exchanged, and they refused to return them and told me that the earphones were working fine and that they only return earphones when they are faulty. Why would I buy earphones, use them for less than one day and then return them the next day and lie and say they are faulty when they are not? If I wanted to return them for no reason I would have still had the right to because I bought them the previous day, what kind of store policy does PEP have that doesn’t allow you to return something you bought the previous day? unless you know you're selling faulty stuff and refuse to give people their money back. In this case though the earphones were actually faulty and they may as well have said that I was lying and refused to take them back. I don't have the time to waste by lying when I had every right to return them the next day, even if they were not faulty, VERY DISAPPOINTED with the service at PEP lakeside mall. When I emailed them they asked ME for their store number so I had to look it up and then they told me that the Area manager would deal with it. A week or so later I don't hear anything from them so email them to ask for feedback. They email me back and say that they called me numerous times but I didn't pick up so they closed the ticket. I have no idea when this happened, because I didn't receive any calls. Why would I go through the trouble of asking them for feedback via email? and at the very least why didn't they sms or email me immediately to tell me that they are trying to call me but can't get hold of me. Instead they waited for me to contact them first and ask them what's going on and to cover up the fact that they didn't do anything they're trying to turn this on me by saying that I didn't answer their calls, when they never called. Bad customer service and Bad service all around, PEP has a long way to go.

It could be better. The range of products they have is way less to compare with PEP Store in East Rand Mall.

Why don't Pep allow you to enter the store with your opened drink?

The service at Lakeside mall pep is patheticFirstly the security pushes my child .Secondly nobody at the tills wants to direct me to a manager or supervisorFinally I had to walk around pep to get assistance , only for the supervisor to ignore my complaint , as if I should not get angry that their staff pushed my child , her question to me was what must she do if he did that , so I'm assuming that is just common practice for the staff in pep , but it would be an entire different story if I had to push on of their staff members

The best shopping experience I have ever received, it's the same standard as entering an international store,well train staff friendly efficient

Asked to check stock in storeroom and I got friendly, helpful service from the guy! Pity I don't remember his name! Queue at the till moved swiftly... NICE JOB folks!!

The staff was not helpful at all, I needed to use standard bank cash send to withdraw transport money but they sent me away even though I told them in not familiar with the area. After 30 minutes of walking around I found standard bank and the queue attendant was much more helpful. PEP should not agree to financial service agreements if they end up sending people in need away

Very rude staff, was spoken to with such condescension. No sense of customer service at all. Will never be back. Don't even deserve a 1 star rating.

I don't even think pep lakeside deserve a one Star.. the treatment I got here on 2 consecutive weeks.i was harrassed by the security guy, who has made serious accusations saying I was looting, just becouse he I told him not to put too much had sanitizer on my hands..he threatened to hit me.. At some point I wanted to open a case against him.I will not recommend this store for anyone. To think that ended up not buying .. after driving 10 km for nothing.
