Went to request Window Glass to be replaced in Midmorning and was done & Dusted by 13H00 Been using Peacock Since 80's never had any problems they have done all my Mirrors Windows in entire house Never used any other Company Kudus to the entire team who are always will to go the extra Mile. They used to be great, but their service levels have dropped dramatically. After buying R7000 of glass in this month, we had to phone 4 times to get an additional piece of about R150, and they then wanted to charge us an additional R900 callout fee for that. Not happy...

When I could get no-one else to come out to replace my shop front window after a break-in on New Year’s Morning my brother recommended you guys and luckily had Terrance’s cell number. Terrance then roused one of your installation teams who kindly put their holiday on hold and come to my assistance. In a short space of time they had carried out the repair and cleaned up fantastically.Even more of a great surprise to get the bill and find out it was a lot less than quoted over the phone – it seems I overestimated the size of the pane being replaced. These guys are so great, I had been to a number of framers who were unable to assist for an unusual candle holder glass side plate I had. It required specialized cutting. They sorted it out overnight, ready for pick up next day for an unbelievable price. Thx so much.

Terrible service, really avoid at all costs. We contracted Peacock Glass to replace cracked glass panels in the aluminium entrance door to a sectional title block in Cape Town in early 2020. They insisted that the entire door frame needed to be replaced, as supposedly it was bent. Trusting their judgement we accepted their quote of R19,510 to replace the door. Instead of designing the door to accommodate either the original CISA electronic lock, or a new equivalent, they fitted a regular mechanical lock with a set of 3 keys. As this is the entrance door to a building of 27 units linked to the access control system, we insisted that they remedy this situation and install an appropriate electronic lock. Since they had failed to take into consideration that such a lock was required from the start, they reworked the door by cutting large slots in the frame, and riveted panels into the door to secure the lock. In addition, they reinstalled the door pull handle from the old door (which was over 20 years old). This proved to be extremely unreliable, as the riveted panel was too flexible to hold the lock in a fixed position. As a result, the door kept jamming, preventing people from accessing/exiting the building. Also the old door handle was affixed with scew sheet metal screws, which kept coming loose (see photos). After several callouts over the span of 18 months, we were eventually told by a very arrogant and defensive owner that the residents are mistreating" the door

I broke a clients glass door and the Great knowledgeable and friendly staff new what I needed ,put my mind at ease by doing what they do best and had a new glass in the door and fit the door in under two hours. Thanks too Lee and all the staff involved. No other glass company comes close to these guys.
