3 Sisters Horse Trails

Great experience to ride on the beach. And the beautiful surroundings. Pleasant horses and good tour guide.

Three Sisters Horse Trails is situated 15km outside of Port Alfred on the R72 towards East London in the Eastern Cape. Adventurous horse riding and hiking trails down steep dunes onto secluded beaches, and through shady dune forests with stunning views out to sea. Follow tracks along the river, across wetlands. and through open farmland. Check out the beautiful Boran cattle with their calves, or spot indigenous game such as Bushbuck or Oribi. Ride for just one hour, or over several days! Had so much fun – will definitely do it again soon. If you want to see the rock foundations at three sisters and you must walk – it’s quit a few km’s walk on the beach – be sure to take enough to drink and some food and have a picnic.  This will a full day activity and not just a quick walk on the beach, but a definite must see if you are in the Port Alfred area on holiday

Absolutely amazing experience! Horses are so well looked after and loved, Jess and Jan definitely know what they are doing and have a love for their horses unlike a lot of other places that just want to make money- these passionate ladies have the horses best interests at heart. Would recommend to everyone!

Very friendly assistant/instructor. It was our first time and it went very well! It was an amazing experience. I’ve never done horse riding before but I’d probably do it again!
