Most beautiful pass with dramatic rock formation. The tar road is in an excellent condition with big rocks as a barrier on the sides. Awesome views. Loved the Leopard!" warning signs. A must drive!"

Really worth it! Best approach is to drive at 20km/h and enjoy the place. Find a nice spot to park and watch this beautiful place.

Bainskloof Pass
This is definitely not the quickest route to Ceres from Cape Town, but it is arguably the most scenic one. The pass steeply inclines from Wellington's side and then slowly descends all the way down towards Wolseley. The road is at certain parts very narrow and some parts of the road are not in a very good condition, but it didn't feel unsafe. If you are familiar and comfortable with your vehicle, and the weather conditions are good, ten why not take the scenic route.

This is one of the most scenic roads to go to by motor bike, bicycle or car. They have done a great job. We had a picnic there recently and the view is amazing.

Some of the most spectacular views and a really beautiful pass. The road service is redone and in excellent condition. Lots of spaces to pull over to enjoy the views. Mountains are majestic and the pass is a joy

Having lived in Wellington this amazing pass is the history of this town, so from Ghost stories about horses running at night and amazing firsts for woman of colour from this area starting a school for the underprivileged this pass has it all. Walkways off it, vista stops and AMAZING views. Stop at Val du Charon, on the way, for a awesome pizza!!

Hike starting it is next with lodge which is top point of the pass that not easy path but it is amazing, you can't imagine such water resource form a river down the valley is.

Beautiful and scary mountain pass to travel through. There are crystal-clear rock pools, camp sites and hiking trails. The pools are lovely in summer, but there are some questionable characters around that sadly leave a lot of litter behind..

Road was recently upgraded which makes for a pleasant ride. Riding my motorcycle on the smooth tar surface made for an enjoyable experience.
