Dis-Chem Pharmacy Bedford Square

Very quiet and private clinic. I even forgot I'm in the busy pharmacy. The attending nurse Nompumelelo was so great. She was quick and gentle. And explained everything to me step by step. I highly recommend this clinic because of her

The staff are very friendly Ester is super patient and always willing to help.

We booked for rapid antigen test at Dischem Bedford Square 3 days in advance. Arrived on time this morning, waited patiently in the queue only to find out 30 min later, after I had approached the manager, that they don’t do the tests anymore, since yesterday! What the hell Dischem!

After making a booking and sitting there while staff are being seen in the client before clients make no sense. Store manager is clueless as to what is going on and the being told to go to another branch as the cannot assist due to the website not being updated. Dischem, hire people that can can charge of the problems and not blame someone else.

Being a European I expect to see Europeans behind the counter. I am not impressed with Dis-Chems modus operandi. Make the necessary changes or loose my business.

You wait forever at the dispensary even though the store is pretty quiet because the pharmacists waste time talking to the customers they are helping instead of encouraging them to keep moving so the next customer can be assisted, and then the only other pharmacist is too busy trying to resolve her personal banking issues to assist customers. She finally decides to assist me while still talking to her bank and then almost gave me the wrong medication in error. Fortunately she realised her mistake, but cost me time in having to wait for her to print a new label and fetch the correct medication off the shelf.Then you move onto the cashiers, and there are only THREE out of TWELVE that are staffed, so yet again you have to wait unnecessarily even though the store is not that busy and then on top of that, the cashier is fast asleep and only rings up the medication from the dispensary and not any of the other items that you placed on the counter with your medication.This is the worst run Dischem store in the entire country by far. I have never had such a poor experience from any other Dischem store ever before. The manager is clearly totally incompetent and needs to be fired and replaced with someone who actually knows how to run a store.

Okay now most of the staff are kind especially the ones in the fragrance section, but I once encountered a very unpleasant male that was restocking the shelves, when a young woman bumped into him then apologized he was very rude about it, even if ur having a bad day that is no way to treat a person.

I had a clinic appointment at 13h30 Saturday, I wanted till last 14 till I was told the clinic closes at 14h00. It's so sad that they were so good and the treatment was so on point, I'm so disheartened that I have to be the one to leave such a review.

Leo's service is absolutely outstanding!! His friendliness, warm welcome and assistance was incredible and has been every time. He assisted me in the makeup department and it was the best assistance I had ever received there, better than the ladies. I just wanted to say thank you so super much for all your help Leo! Your passion and customer care is inspiring and a joy to be around!

The dispensary is shocking. Inefficient ineffective and always out of medication.
