What a disaster Tuesday evening. While I understand that a taxi strike can cause staff issues, what I don't understand is that drive-through customers are more important than counter customers who have bothered to walk in, order themselves and facilitate their own payment. We waited over 30 minutes for our order. Others at the counter were at over 20 mins. And we could see the drive-through packets flying out. When I eventually asked for a manager, the manager's reply was that they were short on staff. Yet there seemed to be no sign that staff had any urgency about being short-staffed. The drive through window lady, for example, had time to dance and sing in the kitchen. She wasn't worried because all her customers were getting served. Turns out our meal was there all along and not brought to the counter. Cold meals, melted ice cream, 30 minutes down and the same price as drive through people. It is unacceptable. The problem of course is that upper levels of management have no doubt set the golden arch rule: NEVER stop the drive through, and most definitely don't make the front guy wait 30 minutes. So we can get frustrated with a manager not leading her troop well in a crisis, yet the problem almost always stems from higher up the food chain. Pun intended. Bad experience not intended.Review Update: I followed the instructions provided to get in touch with the care team and left my details and, to date, no-one has contacted me.

Dear McDonald's, thanks for wasting 20 mins of my time. Your Drive Thru was particularly slow tonight, and when I arrived at the ordering machine I was told there is no ice cream. This would be fine, except there is no way for me to get out as there was a car behind me and a curb with a ledge over which I couldn't drive. All this could have been prevented with a sign at the drive thru entrance that mentions no ice cream available.

You get what you pay for... McDs...is McDees...and we really only come here because of the kids.Gave them 4 stars for their cleanliness and modern interior.I do find them very slow when you walk in for service....UPDATE 4 Feb 2023:25 min for a basic order.... ridiculous, and they forgot my chips.... had to go back in to ask for it....Changed status to 2 star.

Review Update: 2 weeks after making this review I ordered a meal via the Drive thu and I received my McFeast Hamburger in a horrible condition. It is as if somebody blindly threw the burger together. (See pictures that is part of review)Throughout all the times I had McDonald's meals there were a few weird looking meals, but nothing as horrendous as this. I literally had to rebuild the janky burger. Not coolCentrally located McDonalds with lots of outside parking.The interior is very modern and spacious and the staff is friendly and quick.The drive through can be very busy and 90% of the time you have to wait for your order.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We went to McDonalds Drive through this morning and ordered a 2 cheeseburger meal and a Cajun chicken burger. After waiting 15 minutes in the line for our food we got our order. The 2 cheeseburgers were firstly madd with the wrong bun, everyone knows the cheeseburgers do not come with a sesame seed bun, but honestly that wasn't the problem. The burgers both didn't have any cheese, so then what exactly am i paying for? Bread and a patty? Next was the Cajun chicken burger, which had no garnish, mozzarella cheese and lathered in mayonnaise...I don't even think the chicken patty was the right one. This was on the way to work so there was no time to turn around, and upon calling 5 times there was no answer. Why advertise different menu items for breakfast if you don't have the stock to make these items? Really disappointed. Take a look at the product you advertise vs what i paid for.

McDonald's Tyger Manor Drive-Thru
It was month end...yet we did not have to stand in long lines like at N1 City's or Canal Walk. Food was ordered at the Self-service terminal and paid at the kiosk. Within five minutes our food or was called. Only bad thing was the sodas, it was almost flat hardly gas in it (kids) love their gas. We as adults were happy with it as we do not like much gas in our sodas. Overall it was a nice and chilling vibe.

This place is very nice i love the atmosphere is very chill and peaceful. The kids play area is very very nice, I just had a chill afternoon with my kid spend some time in the play area. The staff is on point and very friendly.

We waited 45min for the take out and upon receiving it, the chicken foldover was utterly disappointing, with very little garnish. I had to redo my foldover at home with extra garnish.

This is the only McDonalds I visit. The service and attitude received from Anelisa Mzenzi was terrible. She showed no customer service, She took my order in an inpatient and rude way. Besides that, I probably use the McDonald’s app 4 times a year to redeem a coupon. I wanted to redeem a VALID coupon. However she was adamant it was already redeemed. Got to the last window and they were so confused and don’t know how to complete an order.
