Planet Fitness - George

Use to gym at different Planet Fitness clubs in Pretoria. Was expecting the same yellow bars in the functional area. During loadshedding, the ventilation is bad. Alot of humidity. Im sure they can accommodate a few industrial fans to keep members satisfied. Certian equipment has been out of order for weeks. For a new club, this is not a great start.

A great gym that does have a well maintained pool. I have had no bad experiences here - my only complaint is the women's locker room steam room has been out of order for weeks now with no sign of being repaired.

Enjoy the gym a lot with the new equipment, just a bit noisy when you want to do a yoga class and music is pumping outside the studio

Formally Virgin Active, and now Planet Fitness. Not much change to be honest. As a South African working overseas, I was shocked that the daily rate was so unreasonable. R250 daily rate is considerably overpriced and non-negotiable. Other gyms in George are better at dealing with travellers who want to use a pool as part of their workout.

Wish they could extend the gym times on the weekend.Love the people that work there. !!!!

It is such a blessing to have a quality gym like Planet Fitness George. By far the best gym that I've ever been to. The experience is beyond what we could have asked for.The atmosphere is amazing - the size, the layout, music choice and quality, lighting, etc. - everything is just perfect.The actual gym equipment, from free weights to machines are awesome to train with. Everything is of top quality and latest technology. The vast range of exercises at hand keeps every session fresh and exciting.Shout-out to the staff - they are on another level! Kudos to manager Andre for delivering on customer service and his influence in and around the gym. His never too busy to make time and talk to his customers. Always super friendly and very helpful. Professionalism on another level.Cleanliness and hygiene across the whole gym is top notch. Well done to management and the cleaning staff for providing us a clean and safe gym experience.Awesome work Planet Fitness!

Excellent gym experience. Gym here everyday

Fantastic new gym in George. Good quality and variety of equipment. Open astro turf for hitt workouts is great! Bootleggers coffee shop on site is a nice touch. Only gym in George with a swimming pool.
