Love this place great selection of cooked food except for the staff have a bit of a bad attitude. The other thing that was a bit of a shock to me was that I wanted to draw cash and I was told that I have to buy something first. The reason I have a issue with this is that I know it's not standard practice on many occasions in the past have I drawn money from pick n pay and checkers and even Steve's Spar which has never before required a purchase.

After many years of shopping at one of the best Spars in JHB i cant say that anymore. Since New owner Bought the spar it has gone down from Expired food to rude staff pushing you out the way, to products not being wrapped properly, Stupid robot always in the way, and then the lay out of the shop crammed no space to move, Useless rubbish items taking up space in the Ilse's. Your shop is a disaster. I wont be shopping there anymore. Sorry

Will never support them again. Bakery sell old goods although well in its sell by date. I also found that their hot meals that they sell are very old. Where is the health inspectors these days?

Wide selection on all the different departments. Clean store. Packed to the brim with stick. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely deli and bakery section.

Use to be the best in the area. Would drive past the large Pick n Pay, new Checkers and Woolworths to go to this Spar. Since new owners took over in November 2022 it has not been the same. Quility of everything seems to have gone down. Store crammed with too many things. Aisles are narrow. Cannot maneuver freely with a trolley, over and above they got rid of the small trolleys. Sometimes less is more. Impossible for all that to stay fresh. Evident from reading other recent reviews. Will not be supporting as much as I use to.

Tasty home cooked food that is fairly priced. Baked goods also top notch and always fresh. However, general merchandise a little more expensive that is not always justified.

Very clean, baking goods fantastic...the only place that still sells original custard slices. The isles are wide and everything easy to find.
