Horizon Horseback Adventures

I've been at horizon the first time this year and I loved it. There are friendly people and the horses are all pretty well behaved. The guides will find the perfect horse fitting to you and they have a good knowledge about the wildlife in the south African bush.Even though the weather could have been nicer, it will always stay in my mind as one of the best holidays I ever had. I traveled alone but riding unites people, so it's super easy to make new friends from all around the world ❤️.Looking forward to go there again as soon as possible.

Just love the friendly atmosphere here, the great food, and of course the variety of beautifully kept horses and wonderful rides.

Special place on this planet. The horses live freely in a herd and have the most amazing life, they are extremely well cared for and are much loved. It's the most fun you can have on horseback cantering along the sand tracks looking out for wildlife and swimming with horses. There's no dangerous game so anyone can ride here. Big five game drive are possible at neighbouring reserves. The guides are most passionate about the bush and have become good friends of mine. They will pick you up from JBN aiport and take you back (you won't want to leave though). Wifi is available in communal areas but it's possible to just switch off completely here. There's a chance to add a horseback safari in Botswana (African Explorer or Tuli Safari) if you're a good rider.If you haven't been on a horseback safari with Horizon Horseback then you haven't lived. I will always come back here for as long as I can. Five star rating is not enough.

Honestly this is ridiculously expensive. Clearly catered only to wealthy internationals.I’m sorry but nothing could convince me that this price is worth the experience. You can not tell me that this is the cost of your trip plus a normal markup for profit.I gave this two stars because its not accessible or affordable

Best holidays I've ever had !People working there are very kind and they treat horses so well.I definitely recommend this adventure.Great people, great horses, great food and great sceneries.You won't regret it ;)

I have visited Horizon Horseback Adventures many many times and have never had a bad experience. I call it my home from home. Wonderful horses, beautiful people, warm hospitality, great food. A relaxing but energetic holiday in a stunning setting. A little piece of my heart will always be at Horizon.

Fantastic Safari/Ridding experience! Very professional and friendly team , amazing guides extremely Knowledgeable. Beautiful camp sites and amazing horses(well trained and super healthy). For sure I’ll recommend 200% .

I couldn’t have gone for a better option for my first time on a horseback. The horses are very well-trained and the guides are very patient and accommodating. The meals are very wholesome. The administration goes above and beyond to make your stay seamless. The social activities bring together visitors from both Ants and Horizon. I felt extremely safe and comfortable. I was definitely inspired to pursue riding after returning home and look forward to coming back for more advanced adventures.
