Island Vibe Jeffrey's Bay

We had he best stay. Best view and mazing friendly staff. Its all about hospitality. The lady at the front desk. Charmyne in j.bay are so friendly. She is one to keep. Wow. See you in 2023

We got invited by people staying there to have a braai only to het rejected by the manager and staff. They were very unfriendly and unreasonable. We bought wood and meat just to be dissapointed. I wouldn't recommend staying there if you have friends in town that you want to invite over.

I recently stayed at Island Vibes Hostel in Jeffrey's Bay,and it was an amazing experience. The hostel is very close to the beach, which is perfect for surfing. They even offer surf lessons if you want to improve your skills. The beach is always full of surfers during the day, so it feels safe and exciting.The beds at Island Vibes Hostel were comfortable, and you could see the sunrise from your window in the morning. There are many cozy spots where you can hang out, like by the campfire, at a lookout point with a view of the whole town, or inside near the pool table.The staff at the hostel were really friendly and helpful. They were always there to answer questions and make sure everyone was happy.There were lockers in the rooms, which was great for keeping your belongings safe. However, the lockers made a lot of noise when you needed to get something out.One thing I really liked about Island Vibes Hostel is that they have WiFi even during loadshedding. It was nice to be able to work even when the power was out.One notable aspect is that Island Vibes Hostel is located next to a township. The road leading to the hostel is a bit bumpy, with poor road conditions, similar to many areas in Jeffrey's Bay. While making our way to the hostel, by car, we encountered some people along the road who shouted at us. However, the hostel recommended taking a route along the beach to reach the town, when by foot, which was considered safe during the daytime due to the presence of surfers. It is important to note that, as is the case in various parts of South Africa, the situation can change in the evening.Overall, my experience at Island Vibes Hostel was fantastic, and I would like to thank the staff for providing such a pleasant stay!

Unprofessional and dismissive staff. My friends and I got invited by several guests to have a barbeque there. When arriving, two people told us there are new rules and that we were not welcome. We wanted to eat and spend money at your bar. Well, your loss I guess. Will tell my friends to book somewhere more hospitable.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Beautiful view and great access to the beach. Stayed in a private double room and it was beautiful! Great value!

Absolutely my favorite place to go when I am in Jbay. A must is having a surf lesson with Stephano. I had so much fun.

Laid-back backpackers with beachfront location and walking distance to shops and great surf beaches. Private seaview cabins for a reasonable price but lacking the surf and artsy vibe of the main house itself, basically just a room with a bed. Overall, a nice place if you want to meet like-minded people and enjoy the beach.

The place is located in a magnificent location and the staff was incredibly nice and friendly. Breakfast was good, and there is a private and locked parking. Rooms are a bit shabby, sheets and towels had stains on them. Also, there was a funky smell. For such a low cost it was totally worth it.

Amazing location !! Right on the beach!! Staff are really friendly and helpful. Stayed in a dorm , beds were decent , showers are good. Recommended
